Agreed with the sentiments here. The ads ruined it, and there's way too much of the time allocated to the show for arty montages and establishing shots. Blue Murder was such a good movie because it was gritty.

The acting was spot on in Blue murder too mate. That's what made it for me. lot's of ad libbing with quality.

Agree 100%. I watch it probably once a fortnight, it's just pure brilliance. Everyone was cast so well. I'm disappointed I missed Phoenix, I heard that show was fantastic.

i thought it was a really classy peice of casting, he fits the role perfectly, they've cast the whole set really well, the Moran brothers are awesome. In particular Mark Moran, he is currently playing a crim on Home and Away, he plays that role really well. Vince Colosimo was brilliant as Alphonse... And Gyton Grantley is Carl Williams all over

its funny though seeing a few of these blokes, alot of them came from doing shows like neighbours, home and away, headland etc... and now they are hard arse gangsters

blue murder has it on toast thus far, although i am enjoying "underbelly" but blue murder is without one of the greatest Australian movies ever made problem is you just can't sell it overseas as it took less than a million bucks to make which would make the big wig movie companies not even look at it for a minute.

I've only seen 1-3 so far but got 1-9 last night, still working on 10-13 but should have them by the time i finish the rest. They're pretty much everywhere down here in Melbourne and easy enough to come by. The irony is that if it wasn't banned here i wouldn't have bothered getting the whole lot and just watched it every week.
