Apparently you will not be able to buy it online (through EzyDVD, etc.) because of the ban in Victoria, which is fair enough.

Big W will be selling it for about $50.

I for one will get it, fantastic show.

I must say, the constant interjection of Owen's girlfriend throughout the series was the only blight on an otherwise topnotch show. I failed to see what any of that had to do with what was going on with anything else and the fact that the cop kept telling her confidential information made that thread of the storyline laughable.

I would guess it would be trying to humanise the guy. Because quite frankly as a police officer he is an absolute merkin of a human being. One of those guys who will flaunt his power knowing there will be no repurcussions.

A sequel or prequal would be good. Purana has done alot more work since the arrest of Williams and his trial alone and the backstabbing and so forth would make compelling viewing.

I read a piece in the local paper that it could be shown in Victoria as early as next week because the murder trial that's prevented it from being screen in Victoria is expected to end next week.

Won't happen. Still too many trials to come and Mokbel hasn't even been extradited back here yet for trial. It can't be shown until his trial is at least completed.

I heard on the radio yesterday that in the border towns in southern NSW, people have to present ID when renting or buying the DVD to verify that they are not Victorian residents. People will find a way around it and copies of the DVD will filter into that state (i.e. similar to secondary selling of tobacco and alcohol by adults for the under age).
