Send it via the mail. All it will do is increase sales, and that is no doubt why the producers made sure it was released prior to the court case being finalised in the first place, dont you think. $$$$$

I heard on the radio yesterday that in the border towns in southern NSW, people have to present ID when renting or buying the DVD to verify that they are not Victorian residents. People will find a way around it and copies of the DVD will filter into that state (i.e. similar to secondary selling of tobacco and alcohol by adults for the under age).

haha now you'll have to get bagchecked for underbelly DVDs when going to Victoria.

Williams will keep him out of trouble in the big house
otherwise i suspect mokkers would have been the richest bitch in prision

Looking forward to the prequeal. I wonder if they'll try to fit Mark Read in for a short stint in the series and get Bana on board to add some extra star appeal to the show's 2nd season.
I'd love to see a production similar to underbelly based on the painters and dockers union in the mark read era of melbourne crime.

I'm only just starting on the series now, but already I can tell its quite well done and well cast. It's refreshing to see something from Australian television that tackles something edgy and isn't cheesy and/or sh*t. Gives me hope for a television industry that relies on 90% imported programming.

Yeah true mate. But I think the stories are definately here to be told. The talent is here also to tell them. it's just the lack of funds to tell/make such a show/movie that is always the problem. Good to see more aussie stuff though in the recent times. For sure.

I dont know why peopole think it would be lifted after Goussis' trial... Mokbel is still to be tried for conspiracy to murder and the show could influence the trial

It's not so much a lack of funds as a lack of incentive to produce local programming. It's much cheaper for a network to meet its local product quota by commissioning cheap kids shows and the like and then ship in proven ratings draws at little actual risk from the United States.

Im a Shift worker and didnt get to see Underbelly, Alot of people went on how good it was so i brought the series on DVD, This show by far is the best produced show we have ever made, Okay so you had a strong core of the cast of Blue Heelers, So what it was a very strong storyline that stayed that way all the way thru.

I just finished watching it yesterday after buying the DVDs a good 3 weeks ago, Simpley Awesome, i feel like watching it again.

BTW alot of people on YouTube from Victoria are saying they have copies of Underbelly on DVD.

And Mokbel was the one they just brought back from Grecce wasnt it?
