POTTER FUMES OVER SCHEDULE

Catalans Dragons coach Mick Potter has hit out at the fixture planners, claiming he will have just three days to prepare his side for the Carnegie Challenge Cup final.
The Dragons' Super League match against Warrington on Sunday evening was put back 24 hours because of television scheduling, and they will face a return journey to France before settling into their London base for the big day.
Cup final opponents St Helens, on the other hand, play at Salford on Friday - leaving them a full week to prepare for the Wembley showdown.
"It's a real short turnaround - and we've got double the travelling," said Potter.
"I'm 'filthy' with whoever makes those decisions. By the time I get to find out about it, the deal's been done.
"It's disappointing. You can't do anything about it. but it's really annoying. I would like a week's preparation for the game. But we get three days, and Saints get eight days."
Catalans will catch an early flight back from Manchester to Perpignan on Monday morning and then leave for London on Thursday, 48 hours before becoming the first French team to play in a Challenge Cup final.
Already with grave doubts over utility back Thomas Bosc and stand-off Casey McGuire, the Dragons have suffered another blow with the loss of prop Mathieu Griffi - who has a torn quad muscle.
"It's come at a pretty bad time for him," said Potter.
"He tore a hamstring at the start of the year but was coming along nicely this year."
For Sunday's match, the Dragons will also be without former Warrington forward Jerome Guisset - who has a slight Achilles problem but is expected to be fit for Wembley.

POTTER FEARS FOR WOUNDED DRAGONS

Catalans coach Mick Potter is hoping for a miracle as injuries threaten to ruin the Dragons' historic appearance at Wembley.
Goalkicking winger Thomas Bosc and Australian stand-off Casey McGuire are both rated extremely doubtful for next Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup final against St Helens.
Potter has dismissed suggestions that Bosc is set to make a dramatic comeback from a broken arm and does not expect McGuire to recover from a torn pectoral muscle in time for the big day.
"It will be a miracle if Thomas plays," said Potter. "He has still got his arm in plaster.
"It has been in a cast for five weeks and he has had no movement in that time. He can't rotate his arm and the muscle is wasted. He is 100-1 to play. It's not even a straightforward fracture. It's not going to happen.
"Casey McGuire has a little bit more of a chance but he's not even running yet. He will have a scan on Tuesday but I don't think he will make it.
"I won't put a bloke in who is 80%. I've seen it done before and it backfires. The team comes first. He most probably has a 10 to 20% chance of playing."
The Dragons are also expected to be without prop Mathieu Griffi, who has a torn quad, but former Warrington and Wigan forward Jerome Guisset is expected to be fit after sitting out tomorrow's Super League game against Warrington.
"He needs to get off his Achilles but I'm pretty sure he will be right for Wembley," said Potter.
With Vincent Duport nursing a groin problem, Potter used burly forward Sebastien Raguin as a stop-gap centre in last week's 21-0 win over St Helens and he is likely to continue in the makeshift role tomorrow.
"We're running out of troops but it tests the versatility of our squad," said Potter.
Warrington are boosted by the availability of prop Paul Wood, who avoided suspension following his dismissal in last Sunday's 46-14 defeat at Hull.
But winger Stuart Reardon is ruled out for the season with a shoulder injury and stand-off Chris Bridge and second rower Adrian Morley have both been using a hyperbaric chamber in Swinton this week to shake off knee and thigh injuries.
Meanwhile, Potter has hit out at the fixture planners, claiming he will have just three days to prepare his side for the final.
Tomorrow's match was put back 24 hours because of television scheduling and the Dragons will face a return journey to France before settling into their London base for the big day.
Saints, on the other hand, played at Salford last night, leaving them a full week to prepare for the Wembley showdown.
"I'm filthy with whoever makes those decisions," said Potter. "By the time I get to find out about it, the deal's been done.
"You can't do anything about it but it's really annoying. I would like a week's preparation for the game but we get three days and Saints get eight days."

Catalans get 3 days to prepare and St Helens get a week, yep, that sounds fair

If anything, you'd think the RFL would be helping out the French team, not the top team in SL.
