Crazy not to allow them, ESP as they are only a club sport. We have div 1 sides here who are happy to talk about guys playing for us in the off season, keeping them playing makes it easier to start the next Season with momentum. Is he the head coach or an ass. Coach?

I get the feeling the coach is more worried about losing players to league altogther rather than their momentum or fitness coming into the union season.

I have to shut up for now... i was absolutely pissed off when i found out.. lets just leave it there for now. (I was almost as pissed off about the current situation when i started 4 middle school teams, the RIR, AYRLA and the U23 team) thats all ill say for now.

I appreciate the solidarity now... its a real low blow this has happened.

What a joke. I hate people with this mentality. RI Uni Rugby isn't even division 1 college rugby, they will easily play better competition in the USARL than in their crappy division 2 New England Union division. I would think that Rebellion would be the ones who would have the power to tell their players not to play for RI university rugby union to avoid injury. I am willing to bet RIR is more professional, get more fans and play against better competition than any division 2 union team in the country.

Lawrence, keep your cool, keep emotion out of your argument and prove that you are a more professional club and that little union club should see it as a privilege to be associated with your team. It is key to keep your emotions in check. I've seen you respond to this forum in a less than professional manner(This is why I think most people hide their identity when hiding behind a keyboard and having petty but good natured arguments on the internet lol), so keep in mind you are representing rugby league in the US and get these guys!

You might be able to turn this into a victory for rugby league in the US in general.
Compare this to an arena football team telling their players that they can't play for an NFL team if they have the ability.

In this forum i let loose a lil more as i know its usually insiders in here, additionally i back up what i say with a 95 percent completion rate (better then the melborne storm!!!)
