So our membership slogan for next year is "Unite, Commit, Achieve"
It's ironic that WT are the exact opposite of all 3 of those things.

Sorry - not going down the defeatist pessimistic path.

Tigers to have a great season in 2015.

I'm not so sure a slogan of that nature being released now is particularly good timing. I'll tell you what I want....and it's not a slick slogan! I want to hear from the chairman (or a representative from the new board) and I want them to tell me what they're doing / going to do.

We know step 1 is that they are hiring a football operations manager or GM football ops or whatever the title is and that's fine. But then I want them to start defining what the club stands for...what does it really stand for! What is the direction for the club...short, medium and long term. That should address things such as the the unity issue, the home ground rationale, the recruitment strategy, the junior development strategy, the financial model, the membership drive, the geographical plan for where the team is based etc etc - Only then can management take control of the club and from there they can build a culture!

I'll buck the trend and say that I like it.

They aren't hiding from the fact they have failed miserably at all 3 of those this year.

By using it as the slogan, they are taking the bull by horns, getting on the front foot early.

It shows good intention to be much more professional and is more of a slogan directed at those running the club, not the fans.

Call it the proverbial long overdue kick in the arse.

Intentions are great and allusions to a long overdue kick in the arse are great, but until I see the shiny shoes finally here I will remain unconvinced.

Hoping for improvement though, will continue with my membership.

Well its the first time such intentions & allusions have been made, that alone gives it some merit imo
