Nevertheless, He is still a great player. I have watched him the last few weeks against the Cougars and Roosters etc and he has played some fine games. I don't know his age but he still has alot going for him.

I think he may be playing for a contract but if he keeps going well.

Ellis was definitely from the Dragons - Fred Petersen played last year at the Roosters.

He was always going to be good. Made his debut before/same time as a few of the now Penrith Big Guns - Puletua, Wesser - and looked headed for bigger and brighter things. Not sure whats happened since then but if he ever works himself out....... ;-)

Fred Peterson a better player, obviuosly you didn't see the pl game against the roosters. He dogged it in defence, along with Mateo and a few others.

I don't base my analysis of a players ability on only one game.

There can be a lot of reasons for a player having an off day including injury. But a palyer that isn't willing to put his body on the line against a physical side like the Roosters pl is will always let you down in that type of game and should never be considered for the top grade.

For varying reason Parra should cut

Hopkins, Kativerata, Webster,, Kaufusi, Peterson, Muspratt, Mowbray, Ellis & Marzella.

I don't know about the following players either, and wouldn't lose any sleep if they went too, Langi, Gruszka, Thorman, Hinchcliffe, Moi Moi, Pai & Curtis.

I will probably be howled down but, based on form in pl I do not have a high opinion of these players either, Mateo, Smith (Tim) or Muspratt. The first two did look good in flegg so maybe they will improve with experience.

Just to show I don't hate everyone I do like Afamasaga, Smith (Ben), Hauraki, Oake, Reddy, Cordoba & Anderson.
