First Off The Monday Night Game Against The Knights Then The
City - Country Origin Which I'm Sure We Will Have A Couple Of Players Invovled In.
Then Travel To Nz For The Game Against The Warriors, All This In A Matter Of 5 Days.
Have The Sharks Made Any Queries Into This Debacle?
Is There A Chance Of The Warriors Match Being Put Back A Day?

i reckon its a good thing. Soon we will have a few rep players so our depth will be called on. Along with injuries, it will necessitate blooding youngsters. the last few years the team lineup has been too stable

Well if we want to be taken as a serious contender,

then that might be a good time to get serious.

Its only a good thing for the club to have tough times early on.

Lets us toughen the f**k up and likle Reefy said call on some youngsters to play and step up.

More depth = more pressure to perform.

Melbourne are the best example of what pressure in lower grades can do.

Frenzy.

Stuart addressed this in his column in the Tele about 5 weeks ago. It's being closely monitored especially in respect to how many Monday games we are copping.

We haven't had many decent youngsters to bring into the top grade over the past few years. In general our lower grades have been lapped by the good sides and lucky to scrape into the eight most years.

Things are a little bit better this year with backline players but in all honesty our forward backup is rather "green" and would be cannon fodder up against packs like the Bulldogs,Warriors etc..

That Pl side is crap. I seem to be the only one here who watches it . Its like a car crash , I cant look away. Ok Selmes is a prospect. Star is big but dosent tackle , Porter tries hard but really they play soft. But look at the other teams in the PL comp, some have talent to burn and will lap our guys.

SHARKS IN CALCULATIONS FOR CITY-COUNTRY SELECTION

A number of Sharks player will come under consideration for City-Country selection with the two teams set to be announced on Sunday night.

Greg Bird, Brett Kimmorley, Luke Douglas and even the versatile Brett Kearney will come into discussions for places in the Country team, while Paul Gallen, Lance Thompson and possibly Reece Williams wouldn’t look out of place in a City jersey.
In what will be a busy week, players selected will be sent straight to Coffs Harbour following the Sharks v Knight match on Monday, will play the City-Country game on Thursday, before winging their way to New Zealand to join their Sharks team mates in Auckland ahead of the round eight clash with the Warriors.
