Larissa, if you follow bartmans idea, please make sure those types of ticketed memberships do not get priority positions at Parra.

Would be a shame to screw over the committed fans (who follow our great club) to pander to fans of a stadium.

i can only imagine that dealing with memberships would be a nightmare .... all these people wanting something different - trying to make em all happy

We seem to have enough problems giving members what they pay for, let alone a whole heap of other options and variables.

Really? I pay for a seat, I get it. I don't really care about the membership pack, just give me the card and my seat and I have everything I paid for.

The last 2 years I have been asked if I want my ANZ seats moved and turned it down both times, it's 2 games a year, I still get to see the game, why worry?

Plus, we have a stack of variables anyway.... there are a zillion (ok 12ish?) different options. It wouldn't hurt to add an ANZ only pack (giving reciprocal rights to Dogs/ Tiges), and a parra stadium only pack, although I imagine parra only should be in goal terrace seating.

Personal experience only Kornstar - I had some issues with a certain "upsize" that I did that came with some extras (supposedly).

2015 I revert to seats only (no upsizing) and then it should be fine for me as well.

Good onya Larissa.

Do you know whether there'll be a tciketed membership package that includes only the games at Parra Stadium, and not the ones shifted to Homebush, Darwin or Mudgee etc? If so, will that package be available at a discounted price?

I think the Roosters have had 6-game ticketed memberships in the past, where fans could choose/nominate which of the matches they'd like to attend with their membership - e.g. choosing Friday night games, Sunday games etc. Sounded like a good idea and allowing flexibility like that to cater to needs and lifestyles of fans may increase the number of memberships sold, given how many variables apply to the home game schedules now (locations, days, kick off times).

I completely agree with Bart on this.

Big businesses like supermarkets and health insurances are tailoring their products to individuals or family in many ways.

Supermarkets are tailoring products that suit that area where the store is located, pricing, discounts etc. Its time memberships started becoming tailored to customer needs.

If Bart only wants a membership for Pirtek, then he should in reality he should get what he wants. If people want to only join the Footy club, then have that.

Some of us might not care an just take all games no matter if they are on the moon or in Sydney.

Hi there,

We won't be offering a pirtek only membership package in 2015.

We will however have the 3 game pass that can be used at any 3 eels home games in NSW.

Cheers & Go Parra!

Any reason why Larissa?

Since the ANZ deal (I think 2007) started, members have been saying that they dont wanna go to ANZ and want the membership split into 3 outcomes:

1. ANZ Only
2. Pirtek Only
3. Both venues.

Does the club really want to pander to 'fans' who only want to attend a 20 thousand seat stadium? It's not anybody's exclusive club.

And which fans have ever asked for an ANZ only membership?

Due to committments, I only attended 2 games this year but I don't want to lose my seats so will again maintain my membership. Can't wait to get my hat.

And if the same thing happens and you cant make many games again you can put your seats up for the seat warmer program and buy more than a hat from the merchandise store with all your credits.

Winner!!

There are more people outside these forums Pou.

People who only ANZ memberships perhaps only want to Pirtek cause they have ANZ Stadium passes?

There are many fans I know who choose not to go to ANZ.

As I mentioned in relation to Barts post, it's about tailoring customer needs hence the split membership idea.

Providing such a product would only create further tension within the fan base by highlighting the fact that, while the club values existing 'rusted on' customers, in order to grow it must also pursue new customers with different consumption habits. The desires of these new customers might be completely at odds with those of the existing customers.

Let me illustrate: suppose the club offers both 'Pirtek only' and 'Pirtek plus ANZ' season tickets as you suggest. Now suppose there are more than 20k customers who want to buy season tickets for every home game (at both stadiums).

What does the club then gain by offering 'Pirtek only' season tickets?

Thanks for the reply.

Personally i agree with your course of action in the 3 game Pirtek membership. How many games were sold out this year? Fans who only want to go to the Pirtek games could use their membership discount to purchase tickets to the rest could they not?

Hi Larissa, could you explain further?

Hi Utey,

All reserved seat holders will be able to put their seat back up for sale to the general public if they are unable to attend any ANZ or Pirtek home game.

If their seat is resold the Member will earn a $20 Eels Store voucher.

This is one way we will be providing flexibility to Members who want a reserved seat but can't make it to every game.

Another new initiative is our ticket forwarding program where any member will be able to forward an email copy of their card to a friend to use if they can't make a game. Much easier than trying to arrange to pass on your physical card if you can't make it!

Cheers

Larissa
