Ok, is it possible to upload a pic we have on our pc's as an avatar?

Pen, yes, - thats what I've got. You have to upload it to your own, or someone else's remote server. You should have some webspace with your ISP. This is where you can have your own homepage and you can also upload images to it. Your ISP should have instructions on their website.

Once you have the pic uploaded to a remote server, you can then type in the URL path to have it retrieved.

If you don't know how to do this I can go into more detail and if need be, store your pic.

click on your user name (top right hand corner)>edit profile banner> upload profile banner

you will have to have the image saved to your devide first

You'll also need to turn off your ad blocker I'd imagine.
