Maybe they will learn how to catch the god damn ball.

Last night made Shannon Hegarty look classy.

Utai & Tonga are both past their best. A couple of flashes in the pan who are living off past glory. Time for the Dogs to put them out to pasture in the ESL.

Hazem too.

Patten is their only classy back.

Roberts ran through the line at ease tbh.

Manly v NQ will be a walkover if NZ don't smack em down.

I blame Ryan for the first one... IF he knew how to position a player and NOT throw 4 dummies maybe Utai would of had a chance...

Tonga has always had bad hands and is a serial offender of NOT using his winger (The guy has also lost A LOT of speed since that knee injury).

I think there was a try where Tonga passed to Phelps a week or two ago and I was utterly stunned Tonga used his outside man.

The problem is our lack of speed.

Utai, Tonga and Haz should have scored relatively easy tries, but they couldn't outpace Bowen with his legs tied. They knew this, they knew they had work to do and so they dropped the ball. Put the Cowboys, Melbourne... hell, put any other team in our place and those tries get scored with ease. Our team is desperate for fast, athletic finishers.

Maybe the Dogs could afford some if they didn't use 90% of their salary cap on Mason and Sonny "Showpony" Williams

Sounds like Penrith circa 05/06.

With players like Rooney, Franze, Galea and Pommeroy we were never going to score many speedy backline movements.

The Pom scored a fair few meat pies this year for us. I reckon he is deceptively fast to be honest, although that could because he is standing next to Covell.
