his manager was probably the main culprit - nothing like talking about him elsewhere to get a few more grand.

My ground manager was talking to Morris and Dykes and they said Tahu and a Bulldogs player are signing with Eels for 2005.

El Masri has been given permission to talk so maybe he is on the money. Not sure if Tahu has been afforded the same luxury though but he has definitely stated that he is willing to look around. The biggest hurdle is going to be the instability at the club.

But they are a damn-site better than what we have and both have big-game experience which is lacking in our team.

El Masri can only kickgoals, he is just as bad as petersen
and of for Tahu to perform we would have to buy matt gidley #-o

Remind me again - who is 'Butterfingers' Tahu?

OH YES! I remember now!

He's the bloke who caught the Johns bomb in the 2001 Grand Final to score the match-winning try!

I KNEW I REMEMBERED HIM!

Sorry, mate.

Just pointing out that our personal feelings sometimes get in the way of players' talents.

I agree, though, that he is hot and cold.

But he'd be a much more viable option than Utai - a regular NSW and AUS rep who has the talent and confidence to boot?

HELL YES!

i wouldn't mind Tahu here either, hes a bit over-rated (like most knights players  ) but i cant stop thinking how much speed we would have with him and Grothe....still i'd take Utai over him anyday but saying that i can only imagine them both in the blue and gold =P~

Well, I think Tahu would be a smarter signing than Uai, because:

quite simply, he has been part of a succesful and recent-Premiership-winning team for a few years now.

Although I wouldn't knock Utai back ...

depending on who you talk to, it seems certain in some peoples eyes that he's definitly signed with us, there's been 2 seperate calls in the BSB claiming that.

lets hope it's true.

The only difficulty I have with Tahu though Eelementary is that he would not come at a cheap price and if he did come would we see him for more than ten games a season due to the fragile nature of his body?
