Penani looks quite good as a hooker, noticed this when he played there for Samoa. Don't know if his defence and wrestle is up to the task, but he's very sharp and quick off the mark.

Would be keen to know what the club's plans are for him, but I'm starting to guess that he's being groomed as a potential back-up rake for Ennis now that Brown is getting chances in the halves.

I'm not sure that he'll make the jump to firsts, but his passing game and short kicking game is really crisp and accurate from what I've seen, which doesn't get lost at a higher level

Would be a better option than Politoni, who should not play first grade for a long long time after today. How could he not know to pass the ball?

He did make the break himself, clearly a missed op. He chose to play it on the too safe side. Not a big deal, but was a blown try.

I willing overlook mistakes made by the young guys this year, what I wont forgive is the f**k ups made by senior players that should know better.

Agree with this. I was a huge fan of this signing but I can't wait for him to leave. Actually, I have cursed all 3 people in my avatar/sig.
