They need to put him on the side where he will get more ball, it was evident from his try yesterday that he has class and can easily finish off tries from 10m out. I dont think hes thoroughly enjoying his football but Im sure as long as we win he's happy, yesterday it seemed like he was talking alot on the field so he cant be to annoyed with the lack of ball he is getting or Id imagine he would just be quiet and pissed off

ANother match and I would be interested to hear peoples views on Nige again after tonights match.

I felt he was similar to last week to be honest.

He personally showed poor defence to allow the warriors two ties, yes he got a late try , but anyone could have been there for that. This week he did far less from dummy half, eventhough last weeks efforts were lacklustre from dummay half, at least he had a go, not much from him tonight.

no kick chase again it seemed.

I think you're being a little harsh on him there Beeker..

If I'm thinking of the right occassions, it would be stiff to chalk the Koopu try against him. Sully got caught badly on the fringe there a couple of times and Nige was having to work back on the inside. He did well to get Koopu into the position he did there. The dramas down that side seemed to stop when Hilder was moving on the edges out there.

I actually think Vagana is a better defensive centre than many give him credit for. He directs well inside and out him, but anyone who's played/plays footy knows when you're sliding, you need the inside men to work hard and to be confident in who they've got. Koopu wasn't Nige's man then.

I'll watch the tape again tomorrow though and look at him a little more closely though.

Nigel made over 20 tackles last night. The Warriors ran their big fellas at him all night.
I thought he handled them OK.

Not much in attack except falling over the line for the game sealing try.

One of the problems Nige is having is Bailey who continuelly pops up inside of him and kills the play, so i wish for Bailey to get back to the forwards where he's picked to play and leave the centres to do what they do best or if he fails to do that send Bailey back to PL where he deserves to be. Nothing but a penalty giving show pony IMO.

One thing I was expecting to see was Vagana taking a few intercepts.
Maybe he's still carrying an injury? His hammy seems to be bandaged.

In any case, even at less than top from, he's a million miles than some of the backs we had running around for us last year. Even at below his best he is a valuable contributor to the side.

If the Sharks side starts to truly dominate then I'm sure Nigel will shine.

True guys, I guess I'm looking for him to be a leader, we certainly is doing the work in defence, but I would love to see the work ethic in attack too, thats all.

I think hes still troubled by injury and with this he still performs. Once hes fully over it, and had more time to gell with Noddy, things will look alot better

The about Vagana is he is there for the crucial plays.

For mine he saved the game when he had the experience to be back to take the NZ bomb on the last when Simmons had been involved in the tackle beforehand.

Kimmorley prefers using the left hand side of the field. Watch the game when noddy is back with Vagana on the left. If he fails to deliver then, I will be more than happy to criticise.

He'll come good ...he hasn't done anything wrong , he's just been a bit quiet.
Just having him out there is a bonus... 1: the younger players will get confidence having him there encouraging them and 2: oppositions will be in two minds knowing what he is capable of.
Him and Sherwin had a freakish combo that was prettyy unlikely to be as good with anyone else....I still think he will be there when it matters.

Took the words right out of my mouth.. It wasnt an easy take either, the Warriors players were steaming through in their numbers.. I felt a lot more confident when i saw him go above the pack to take it, then if i saw Simmons.. Nothing against Simmons, he just didnt have one of his better games apart from denying Toopie's try..

Theres nothing wrong with vangana. I watched him for most of the night and he put his hand up for the ball nearly every last play. Then he would throw his hands in the air with frustration when they passed to the other side of the field. he needs to be GIVVEN the ball more. Hes totally ignored out there at times and it s#!ts me to tears to see noddy, or kent or whoevers there at the time kick or pass to the other side of the field when he could easily score on his side of the field.

Maybe Bailey needs to add on a few kilos and be this decades version of Marty Lang. At least he'd have an excuse not to pass to anyone then.

Come on Nige - its now or never. Your playin your old club mate & we are a bit short in experience again this week.
This game is critical to our final aspirations. We need you to stand up & be counted. You have had long enough to get used to our style of play.
How about 2 or 3 tries for the sharks mate. If they dont throw it to you, follow stevo or sully up the guts & you will get plenty of opportunities.
We have to win this game & your the man to bring it home for us.
I want to see the 3 fingers raised after you dive across the line for your 3rd to seal the game.
Go Champ.
