Well he showed tonight he is one of the best wingers in the world. without doubt the best broken play player in the world but in flanno attacking structures a dogs breakfast. Let Graham Moylan and co make the holes cause Val will finish them off

I’m already getting ready to say bye to Val I think we will get Pearce and I don’t like the fact that Val re signed coz he got ur playing fullback he should play wherever flanno tells him

Val and Doooogs looked great together. Special handshake and all.

Headache for Flanno, and scares the crap out of all other teams.

Val is going anywhere at least not for 2018.

He's go fullback money from us, I doubt any club picks him up to play fullback or pays him more than what he's on to play wing.

So original player test player premiership winner record test try scored just turned 22

Let him keep developing his FB role you f**king idiots
I'm a fan of Val but considering he's probably the best finisher in the game I reckon its in our interest to use him in his best position (at the moment) and hopefully interchange him with fullback at times to learn his trade. Gotta remember he didn't really have a mentor at fullback at the Sharks last year but Moylan and Dugan change that and give us far more options and versatility in the backs.

Yeah and he didn't have a cronk and Smith setting up plays for him either.

Moylan is a useless fullback, far better suited to the 6

Evidence? Barely played 6 in his career. 2016 stats from fullback blow Val out of the water.

Why would he need a mentor? He played all of his juniors at fullback.

Last year he was arguably the best fullback at the club. He's now 3rd best and the best winger. It's a no brainer. Follow the play around like he was last night and he'll be second top try scorer behind the Fijian.
