The code has lost some big names recently, with the latest being Bulldog icon, Charlie Sutton who goes to the grave (with what I'm sure for him would have been an unwanted accolade) as the only premiership coach of the club.

Very fitting that Martin Flanagan, unwaveringly positive and ever attuned to the romantic aspects of the game, should write his farewell piece.
