me and the fiancee have agreed not to do it this year, no gifts nothing
we've got a wedding to save for in nov, a holiday to euorpe in september

we'll get a nice $50-60 bottle of wine, find a great recipe out of a french cook book, cook at home, enjoy a drink with some candles.

normally we go out for dinner at a top resturant and spend $3-400 on each other. Seems pointless this year given the circumstances... although ill probably reneg on the no gifts deal and buy her some flowers
