Vautin makes a fool of himself again

On the footy show last night, he declared a major exclusive scoop - Steve Price would declare if he was playing or not.

Someone should have informed Vautain that Price made the announcement at 5pm. It was all over the internet, on all three tv news broadcasts and was on a sports update not too far out from when the show began.

Vautin should get his head up from the form guide.

They made various hints of it throughout the show... and he still said "Steve Price would declare if he was playing or not"...

Including Brad Fittler and Andrew Ryan going for the coin toss to see who would go on first :lol:

Johns even mentioned Price wasn't playing while giving his tip then said after his comment "sorry", assuming apologising for mentioning it.

The thread title'Vautin makes a fool of himself again' suggests you maybe somewhat surprised ? I am 100% certain Vautin is not on the show to give us insight or intellectual stimulation.

Blame cannot be blamed soley on the red head's shoulders, channel 9 would of knew about this announcement and continued trying to sell it factoring in the earlier announcements would not detract from the viewers as ratings will suggest it won't.

ch 9 has screwed over league for far too long

they are only now starting to try and improve their coveragenow because they know the contract is up soon

If it's good now, shut your whining and get over it. I love league's coverage now. It could be better, as could everything, and the footy show is good light relief on a Thursday (I'd rather watch that than the ions and ions of reality and drama we have thrown at us). I understand we've recieved the raw deal from Nine in the past but if they're doing the right thing now, then seriously dude, grab a nice warm cup of shut the f**k up and deal with it.

7 will only put up one hell of a bid if they miss out on the AFL rights again.

My hope is that the NRL & AFL rights aren't held by the same TV station as is currently the case with Channel Nein.

Since Nein got the AFL rights, us Melbourne based NRL supporters have been shafted something chronic.

It really isn't all that difficult.

Don't have a go at Channel 9. They run a show that obviously has had the rating power to allow it to continue.
