Desert Breeze Park has been announced as venue for the Nines, which makes sense considering it contains multiple fields.

Was entry restricted to nth American clubs? You’d think this could become huge if they opened it up worldwide. Reckon there’d be a lot of amateur clubs who’d be happy to have a week in Vegas and play in the nines comp.

Year one was definitely restricted. Brad Walter wrote an article talking about that there was interest from Australia, England and South Africa, but the focus was on North America (but they could see it becoming a global event). Clearly organisers have removed that restriction for next year with 6 Australian teams already confirmed.

In a significant boost for the Boys & Girls Under 18s competitions at Vegas, with the West Side Pit Bulls, South Jordan Rabbitahz, North Lake Phoenix and Kau Toa all announcing plans to send teams over.

The Timp Panthers had already confirmed their intention to enter a side in both the boys & girls competitions, bringing potential participation to 6 boys & 5 girls.

The Toronto City Saints have confirmed that they'll be returning for Vegas 25 overnight, meaning there will be representation from Ontario and British Colombia.

Event organisers have confirmed that the Referees and Coaching accreditation courses will be run again this year with Neil Henry and Jess Skinner to run the coaching courses and Andrew Wareham to run the referees.
