We don't use our bench in a big way.

Just look at the minutes Capewell and Beale got against the Cowboys.

Mainly gets used if we have an injury in the game so that is why Beale will be there and it will be a choice between Taga and Capewell.

Otherwise we have a one prop and one backrower rotation.

At the end of the day Flanno has run with this plan for months now and we are playing a grand final next week.

I get the feeling that if Taga is fit he plays and cape well will miss out with Beale on the bench as cover - we have so much flexibility with bird:Holmes etc that we can cover every position.

I would like capewell to play but Flanno is pretty loyal and in all honesty Beale deserves a grand final ring - he has been good for us.

Didn't you "stand by" your declaration of a month ago that we wouldn't win another game

There is a few like that.

We were playing within ourselves, deliberately or otherwise.

When the incentive is not there (i.e. Top 4 already secured), the intensity drops off.

That's why the Cowboys aren't in the grand final - after winning last year, their intensity dropped off.

Capewell's real value is his ability to keep going in the tackle. Like Prior he is hard to put down and pulls in defenders. Also young and can stay out there. I'm not shure if we need Beale. Taga is good but only if fully fit.

To win we need to we simply need to play the way we did on Friday night. Win the physical battle, move them around and support the ball carrier. Smart offoads, with back up runners will worry them. Structured block plays are not that effective against them.

Two areas were obvious last night that can be exploited.
1. Vunivalu jams in every time. Maloney cut out to Feki will be on.
2. Harris, Blair, Green channel. Harris and Blair are not great laterally. Lewis and Bird cutting back on unders lines could open up space looking for Barba trailing up the middle to create chances to score.

They will attack Maloney, Graham , Leutele channel with Smith off a run around looking to hit Cronk or Proctor. It's a pet play and they want traffic at Maloney. The left edge will need to communicate well and jam. They are less likely to go around us.

The other issue is left edge defending kicks. Feki on Vunivalu in the air is a bad match up for us. They will target it. Holmes on Marika is better for us when attacking.

Going to be great fun and we will win. I have been very confident we would get here since the Brisbane game.

Fair call.

Humphrey hasn't been setting the world in fire & Feki is like a box of chocolates.

Need to restrict them getting the ball & target their bomb kickers.

Me too, can't really explain why as haven't been on the piss.

Think it's adrenalin & lack of sleep.

One thing for certain, Friday night we got a couple of strip penalties, guarantee next week they will all be drop balls, will have to be very tight on ball security because they will rake and get away with it every single time...

Frenzy.

Capewell is the man. If Taga gets in has to be for Beale.
Taga's hands are horrendious and for sure and certain he'll drop the ball on at least 3 occasions.

Well that would be more than 3 times his average. He only has 13 errors from 20 games this year
