you're really struggling aren't you??? :D

ive got a problem with the tolls on the M4.

the citybound one is too low - ill pay anything to get away from there.

and the inbound one - who in their right mind will pay to go to parra.

go eels

eels top 17 next year, how many juniors?

so we've changed from top 25 to top 17 just to suit your arguement...

again, what's the difference?

just because I can provide 10 names from out top 24 it really means jack.

next thing you know it you'd want to provide the amount of juniors from our frontrow

hey einstein, when you worked out 6 players for newcastle, it was from their top sqaud of 17.

not the 25 man squad.

thats why im asking to compare newcastle and parra on that basis.

think about it for a sec, youll get there eventually

now, lets link this back to the original topic.

both newcastle and parramatta next year will have less than half their squad coming from their local districts.

in newcastles case (*) they have been around for 100 yrs, and in the eels case just over 50.

in all that time they still have a large bulk of the squad coming from other areas, not theirs.

so hardly an issue then for a new club like the storm in an area where RL is foreign and had no juniors really in comparison to that.

* either in the original competition in 1908, their own local competition or from 88 on in ARL.

7 based on the 2008 squad makes you correct.

though on last years squad i was correct.

do you want to go back the last 10 years so that you can win the arguement

2005 Newcastle
2004 Parra
2003 Newcastle
2002 Parra

what difference does it make???? fact is we're definitely not as bad you'd like to make out and we're not much between Newcastle, Saints, Souths and us but if there's a benchmark I would say Penrith are it and given that our club last year were

1 game short of gf birth in Harold Mathews
Won the SG Ball comp beating an undefeated Penrith.
lost the gf to Penrith in Flegg after we lead for most of the match.
won the pl gf.
1 game short of a gf birth in fg..

Not bad for a piss poor sorry club that you make us out to be...;-)

well, the newcastle squad next year is hardly representative of what their teams have looked like in previous years i think. brian smith has signed heaps of players from saints and other cast offs so next years squad is not what id say is normal.

i said before i though parramatta would make the GF this year.

im just placing the eels in context.

and given all the resources parra have in their favour (LC, location) their FG sides performance has been ordinary.

ED was basically parroting the ray hadlee / dennis fitzgerald line (i wonder which team they go for?) and being totally unfair to the storm.

i was trying to show him that everything wasnt rosy at his club either. since he chose to ignore the reasonable posts, i upped the ante and brought in some of the more infamous parramatta losses to get his attention.

I played in the Vic competition when the Storm first set up. There was no interaction with seniors/juniors at all. We were ignored completely.

Whilst I'm, not dirrectly involved anymore, I'm told (from a solid source) that there is plenty of work going into the kids at both clubs and Primary Schools.

Anyone who wants the storm gone are NOBS!!

Heheheheehehe

dally said Parra were doing a poor job so was asked to name the other clubs who were doing better

dally answers with Newcastle

eelavation tears him a new arsehole and humiliates the poor sod

dally claims victory :?

so who are the clubs doing better that make Parra look so poor?

you may want to check the status of Pritchard, Blair and Moke I think they all may be local products..
