Just got back from a trivia night.

Watching the replay, how was this not a try???

Even the fox commentators said it was a try, as did the ref.

Still yet to see how it wasn't.

Not saying the drags deserved to win, but 2 no tries that were, plus a pants try off a blatant forward pass - makes it hard to win.

there just seems to be no respect for Kogarah anymore. Just under 11k on a Sat night? Pathetic. Yes it was cold but the gong wouldve been colder.

Twice now at Kogarah we have come out and been blown off the park in the first 40. Maybe we shouldnt warm up for half an hour. We seem to be running on empty by the time the whistle goes.

Exactly. Nothing seems to go the drags way these days.

More no tries that are 50/50 than any other team. Especially for obstruction ones.

Other teams can run nfl plays and it's a try. Drags get near being in the way and it rejected.

Think they said it was called as a 'deliberate' knock forward, which is an absolutely ridiculous decision, especially since it was given as a try and had to be 'beyond doubt' to be overridden.

Daniel Anderson needs to educate his video refs on what "conclusive evidence" means when it comes to overturning the ref's decisions. Vidot's was definitely a try. The one where Soward knocked on I agreed with the decision.

What happened to the good old days when a knock on was a real knock on. i.e. the ball falls out off the hands and hits the ground in front of the player??? Also, an obstruction was a blatant shepherd. They are ruining a simple game, and to be honest it's turning me off the sport.

yep...getting fed up with how pedantic the game is becoming. Every try now has to be scrutinized and it seems in the Dragons case, looked for ways not to allow it. Must make players hesitate leading up to a try thinking if they will be off side or not, and perhaps ruin the flow of the game....then as you said the knock on rule-well how come some are called a knock on and others knocked back, when they look exactly the same?! then of course you have the blatant knock ons which are much more obvious...seems we never get the run of the green on these calls.

I'm not referring to tonight's game but just in general it happens a lot in all NRL games and it's crap.

Yeah i'm pissed we lost but that first try was a 12 point turn around. Ref ruled obstruction Pamferrs got a penalty and scored in that set...... 12 point turn around. Our boys dropped their heads and game over. They never recovered.

Vidot no try was a try when i played the game, ball didn't touch the ground.


Too bad so sad Pamferrs player couldn't catch the ball Vidot did before it hit the ground and TRY....so I just dont get the logic in this rule

When I woke up to watch the game, I just saw the no try come up and everyone blow up without seeing the video.

Watching the highlights now, I thought it was pretty conclusive it hits Vidots hand and then into the penrith player then Vidot regathers. Knock on by the rule book.

This garbage of knocking the ball forward in the air is classified as a knock on is absolute joke. So can someone please explain to me what happens if you juggle the ball if it is passed to you? As far as I'm concerned a knock on is when the ball travels forward from the hands and hits the ground. These days it only needs to go any direction. Yes the Dragons didbn't deserve to win, but it should not have been a 19 point shut out. The referees have a lot to answer for from last nights game. Absolute joke.

Dragons were absolute rubbish panthers ran harder tacklef harder played the ball faster played smarter. Dragons fowards playyed with no desire no aggression with the exception of Jack debelin. Our halfs no direction no penitration centers also no penitration and lack speed. As ive stated previously will be along season we just dont have yhe cattle at the moment.

The obstruction was a fair call. If hunt runs his decoy through the line there is no problem. He stops in the defensive line and the runner scores off his right shoulder. That's an obstruction in every game. In the 2nd minute, pulling up in the defensive line as a decoy is just lazy and stupid.

Regardless, we did nothing to overcome adversity. Soft mentally at the moment. That's a real problem. But biggest issue for us are team selections. Our halves are aweful. Price needs to wake up. If Fien is selected at half back next week that will do me. And I guarantee you be will be.
