I don't know if any body noticed Vidukas sublime pass which led to our Goal. It wasn't till a slow motion close up replay that I could really see how good it was. With players all over him he managed to get it to kewell with an awesome flick. Just pure magic. If it wasn't for that magic ball the Goal would have never eventuated.

And Kewell totally mish*t it didnt he ? It looked like Kewell was going for goal, but thankfully Bresciano, the real hero, got us home

Hybrid Tiger should especially take a bow ... for the last 3-4 years he's been talking up how good Bresc really is. He confirmed it when moving to Italy and playing for Parma, but proved it totally with that fabulous strike. What a player !!

Yeah he is top notch player. I still think we are lacking one more creative midfielder to complement Bresc and Cahill. We need someone with a bit more vision e.g someone that can put a through ball and split defences with passes along the ground. Alot of our passes were mostly aerial ones going forward and were picked off but ironically the one goal that we scored came from skillfull passing along the ground.

Yeah he is top notch player. I still think we are lacking one more creative midfielder to complement Bresc and Cahill. We need someone with a bit more vision e.g someone that can put a through ball and split defences with passes along the ground. The only players like that are Nedved, Zidane, Ronaldinho and Ballack these days ... maybe even Lampard.

Kewell is just as good as those players imo. Just needs to stay on the park for long enough to prove it.

I've been watching Bresciano for a few years now and he's always had the class. The Serie A doesn't get the coverage over here, so not many people knew how good he was, but he's been doing it for Parma and is consistently one of their best week in, week out.

The same applies for Grella as well, who IMO was our best player over the two legs. I always knew Vince had some potential, but didn't know he could be such an enforcer for Australia.
