i've got a few teams ready to go

but having tried all 3 recruiting styles, live draft is by far the fairest imho

I intend hosting such a comp, but won't start it till early next week .... hoping the server will be running nice and smooth by then

okies tuesday night looks like would be good, (apart from having to tape Survivor again :lol: ) give us a couple of days to finalise team selections etc .... so might advise details sunday afternoon, and hopefully fill up late sunday, should be draft Tuesday night

i'll probly just troll the boards and send pm's to people who look solid players and will front at the draft

tdcockers not sure what you meant above, but if you mean can the draft be finished by 9pm, you got buckleys .... and considering as soon as live draft ends its a mad scramble to fill squad .... then allowing for server problems .... if it begins at 7pm - lucky to be done by midnight lol ..... in my experience takes a good 2.5 to 3 hours if server is flying, and 4 to 4.5 hours if it is in pain

This is my first time in VNRL, so can someone please help me a sec? You're posting 17-man squads for the first round, but I can't see where you pick a squad for that week's game?

Do you actually have to do that in the game (i.e. nominate a 17-man squad), and if so, how?

Thanks & sorry if I'm just being a dim bulb.

Select your team name under the your teams menu on the left of the screen,
Click on the draw tab, that brings up your season draw and then click on view/select and you can choose your players for the various rounds

Try recruiting on sunday morning to guarentee the tuesday night, otherwise you may just get bumped to wednesday (and I for one would not like to see that!
