All 17 club CEOs are in Vegas, and will all be pitching to be be there next year no doubt. I read somewhere that the Panthers are locked in, and apparently the Warriors are too as that will pull attendance from NZ as well.

how will the panthers go if they get the four-peat and have to do the world club challenge AND vegas?
i suppose if every club is going then at some stage the premiers will draw the short straw

I suppose like everything our club does it's pretty conservative these days.

But I think like most including myself we were probably happy to sit back and see how it all goes overthere and the club not be a guinea pig to an experiment

It's a pretty big unknown when it got announced so happy to send those 4 teams over. I would be disappointed if the club didn't at least try and get over there next year. Considering the build up to this one has probably been more then everyone expected.

The exposure these 4 clubs have got is worth a lot with sponsors and revenue with merchandise I reckon.

It's almost like it's a 4 team competition. The other 13 clubs don't exist this week.

i suppose they may have to balance it up and hope we don't lose another home game from it. Unless we give up the stupid Darwin game.

Coming home from England is probably better going via Vegas tbh then back to sydney.

It's only a 10 hr flight from London to Vegas.

Compared to a 24hr long trip back to Sydney.

Spread out the trip home and play another game 2 weeks later In Vegas.

The only issue you would be on the road for a month.

Interested to see how this plays out. It seems massive from here but do the yanks actually give a rats arse? Or is it being driven by aussies going over? It’s a long way from being a success yet imo.

Yeah driven by Aussies and $20 tickets. It’s literally the cheapest thing to do on the strip tonight.

Abdo has confirmed today there is nothing stopping the 4 clubs playing tod playing again in the 5 year period. Clubs will apply that want to play over there and the NRL will then consider who to send.

we were 1 of 7 clubs who didn’t put in an application for this year

Im sure Politis will get what he wants

The club should explain that. Our CEO and chairman whoever they are. They just keep f**king things up.
