Well they didn't come out playing like it - Roosters pack has easily been dominant, and big name guys like Haas and Carrigan have been pretty much MIA. Radley's showing them up.I think the Broncos looked like they had a bit more "killer" in them than the Roosters, from footage in the sheds before kick-off...
Eels could do with some of that X factor thoughFor all his flamboyance, Walsh is full of mistakes. He can also be put off his game easily and is a shit defender.
I don’t rate him. Too erratic. For all his flamboyance, Walsh is full of mistakes. He can also be put off his game easily and is a shit defender.
Roosters will be a force this year.Well they didn't come out playing like it - Roosters pack has easily been dominant, and big name guys like Haas and Carrigan have been pretty much MIA. Radley's showing them up.
There my 2nd tip behind Penrith to win the comp i reckon.Roosters will be a force this year.
Yep, I've been impressed today.Roosters will be a force this year.
They’ve been smashed by injuries in recent years. Some of it self-inflected given their aggressive style. If they stay fit they’ll be Top 4.There my 2nd tip behind Penrith to win the comp i reckon.
Holbrook coming back as an assistant will give them a better edge.
I’m not saying I wouldn’t like to be run half as well as them.Me, I care. I’d like to have a club that is run like the roosters. Rather than a club of dopes.
The back 5 they selected today should account for 50% of any clubs cap, and yes I’m counting Young and Smith as backline players even though they were out injured. Amazing accountant as usual.Yep, I've been impressed today.
Yep, sure. The back 5 they selected today should account for 50% of any clubs cap, and yes I’m counting Young and Smith as backline players even though they were out injured. Amazing accountant as usual.
And I don't think the Broncos will be top 4, based on that performance. They’ve been smashed by injuries in recent years. Some of it self-inflected given their aggressive style. If they stay fit they’ll be Top 4.
BIG NRL boss just said maybe a triple header next yearBe interesting how it all goes tomorrow.
I suspect the other 13 clubs are probably getting a bit FOMO atm with all the attention these 4 clubs are getting.
NRL have said there will be 10 games across the next 5 years & everyone will get a go.
Some clubs I suspect the ones already there will get a 2nd trip to Vegas in the next 5 years.
Hence why I said earlier surprised game wasn't played in Mexico to honour their sombreroThe back 5 they selected today should account for 50% of any clubs cap, and yes I’m counting Young and Smith as backline players even though they were out injured. Amazing accountant as usual.
The photo is deceiving. Cause the playing field is moving. Closing the gap. No concrete exposed. All covered in Astro turf. PaddingMay be some concussions and injuries if there is any sliding going on in the in-goals this weekend.
Tommy T will be shitting bricks with his shoulder if he needs to run and dive in cover …

Get Kayo sports. About $25 per monthSo, the first Manly-Souths game is on Fox only on Sunday 1.30, and second Roosters-Broncos game is Sunday 3.30 on Fox or Nine... I don't pay for Fox, and can't be arsed getting to a pub for the early game, so season kick off will be 3.30pm on Nine for me.
Manly and Souths seem very unexciting squads to me, I don't expect either of them to do that well this season - maybe finish between 7th and 14th? Not fussed at missing that one, except for the lols watching Nathan Brown warming the bench in #17 and Jake Arthur remaining in his tracksuit in #18.
Roosters and Broncos game looks much more inviting, and their squads look quality - I expect them both to finish between 1st and 6th.
