I'm going agree with you here and those teams set quite a high benchmark with not much Rnd1 rust.

I thought to myself a few times, hmm I hope we can compete with this intensity.
Speaking to my parents this morning there initial reaction was similar how are Parra going to compete with those 4 teams after seeing them yesterday as there pretty pessimistic coming into this year already about Parra already.

We have it in us its about consistency.

Like everything it comes down to defensive attitude and mindset with us. We have enough attack in us. Its how we defend will decide how far we go.

We seemed to be a like a tap. We turn it off and on when it suits. And that's including during games.

All I saw yesterday that with the exception of Rorters, the other 3 can score points but they struggle to stop them. Which is basically no different to us last year (or seemingly this year based on trials)

What I don't understand is how the Roosters let Spencer go and talk to the media after the game... He should have been told not to talk and go sit in the change rooms.

Yet i reckon you put him back in the souths team and things are a lot different.

Illas as hard as he tries isnt strong enough to take control of that side with the egos of Cody & Latrell that Reynolds would.

I reckon Reynolds has gone on a year too long TBH. He was very ineffective and his kicking game was trash. Mid field bombs galore that had little to no impact against a Roosters side who are quite good in the air. I am not sure if they were scared of the narrower field or the small in goals but they rarely looked to trap them in the corners and make the Roosters work it out of their end zone which they did quite effectively last year.

The Broncos forward pack looked lost too with Carrigan out on an edge rather than playing through the middle. Sure, that was a result of the Piakura injury but surely there was a better option than to move Carrigan.

Would be a bit strange having 2 games as round 1 and the 3rd an exhibition game.
I reckon you could do it across 2 days.

1 Super League game and the WCC on the Friday Night which is Saturday Afternoon our time.

Then 2 x NRL Games on the Saturday Night/Sunday Afternoon our time.

Then I suppose you can package up tickets cheaper for those that want to do 2 days.

Sepos love anything with 'World' in it. If you bill it right then they will get that it means something and that it is a world title as such.

Just a thought. Probably won't happen though.

They will probably stick to just the double header. I didn't like Abdo's head/facial reaction when PVL suggested a triple header. Maybe our Channel nine overlords won't like the idea and or the season ticket holders won't be to impressed either. Who really knows?

If Parra get the nod for Vegas I reckon Drown might be sitting at home. I know some players got VISA exemptions this year but I don't think any of them were the same kind of crimes at Dylan's

We. Should rebrand and not call it rugby league or nrl

I read there was alot of yanks referring to the game as rugby
A USA morning America tv show. Spoke about Vegas NRL. But had 5 union players in the studio. Talking about union on live TV 😦
They are confused 🤔
