Re Kosi,Hasnt been all his fault. Berry gave him next to no room to move both times. He should have held onto it. The laydown was bad though.
It's his effort and positioning, can't think, turn inside when Berry heading out. Tuipaki should be there everyday of the week. Would have scored the first try with effort and smarts alone that Kosi got bundled out on.

I actually felt reasonably proud of us last night, we were well beaten but another side would have had 50 laid on them with the amount of ball and field position Brisbane had.

Incredible to think with a decent winger, we might have gone close to winning. Geezus Kosi was shit. Even that first half one in the corner, as I say, any decent winger scores that. He never looked like he knew how to finish a try. As for the drop in the second half, that should be his last play as an NRL player. We've seen enough, and no one else will want him.

Some huge double standards all game by the ref. Head in tackle penalty was horse shit as well. Not head butt.
Head close to the other players neck happens in so many tackles but referee chose then to give a penalty. Brisbane line didn’t look 10metres on so many plays. Interference on runners from kicks - both teams were doing it but we got penalised.

yes Brisbane looked like the better team and we made too many mistakes but so hard with such a one sided penalty count and restarts

We started the game in a daze. Doesn't anyone fire them up in the dressing room?

Then the Broncos trainer in a blue jumper was standing in the backline directing the Bronc's attack. For a long time too. They should forfeit all their first-half points, and the trainer and club should be fined.

Kosi is Kosi. Will never be different.

Shocking refereeing. Clearly favouring the Broncos.

Rant over. The better team won.

The injury toll is really getting serious.

Yeh, i noticed that too. There were 2 trainers out there at the same time and one was having a right old chinwag with a player. I thought that was abit odd. NRL teams will take the piss until they cant get away with it anymore. Nothing new there.

Remember Inu was skating on thin ice with mistakes? He dropped a ball against Melbourne in 2012 and we released him that week.

Nothing wrong with that tackle at all.
Unfortunate that Metcalf injured.
I actually don’t have a problem with the report in that situation- a player got badly injured, the ref probably just wants to make sure it wasn’t a result of any foul play. Piakura won’t face any charge and there wasn’t any on-field punishment so nobody ends up wronged.

Don’t the Warriors get a free interchange out of it though because the player is placed on report ?

Reports are only meant to be there for foul play, not just to be used Willy Billy because somebody may get hurt, and the only foul play they could find in this one was “whiplash”.

This point about the Broncos trainer is valid. I was at the game in person and I couldn't believe it! He was there for 5-10 minutes clearly directing play!! It was ridiculous.
