Yeah heard them mention that, I mentioned in another post though that he seemed fine when Vaamuaga spilt the ball a metre out and he gave him a spray then kicked the ball into the crowd.

He's probably spent his whole life behaving like that. He might change for the better when he gets a bit older.

Just watched the highlights. Great work by the forwards but the halves and backs are poor. I don’t know how we have won as many games as we have but just loving it cause on paper our team looks so poor.

Kosi gave a try away but not a total disaster otherwise

The difference in Kosi and a real footballer like Leiataua, I reckon is summed up in two plays last night. Trying to throw that kick through out dead was a terrible, low IQ play in the wet. I don't reckon you'd see 99% of the comp do that. Contrast that with Leiataua, when the Broncos put a kick through that rebounded off Chanel, Ali had the presence to know he was offside, resist the temptation to chase it and get pinged, then we got the ball back. That was so impressive.

I can't help but think Ali doesn't feel at all comfortable on the left, though. There's zero timing and cohesion between him and Pompey

For a Madge side, they really lack some mental toughness and resilience, and that’s mostly in their experienced crew because guys like Shibisaki were really good.

Warriors are continually sitting at a level throughout the season and letting other sides beat themselves and taking all the chances they get given
Yeah, the Broncos aren't much off what they were last year. 600+ games in the halves, the pretty boy marquee fullback, some big Origin forwards, pace and skill on the flanks but they haven't really got out of 2nd gear all season. Don't look like a team playing for each other, whereas we are.

It's so impressive, culture-wise what we're doing. Our side is actually really average in a lot of respects, we were pretty plod before we lost RTS, DWZ, JFH etc but we keep rolling on. We don't look that well coached, our halves create little to nothing, our goal kicking is sub-par, but we roll on. It's pretty cool. Those guys play for each other.

And it's nice to be able to say this without seeming bitter, but that video ref call to award the Broncos' final try is the type of shit that drives you wild about this game.

I don't really care about Walsh clearly trying to impede Capewell, although you could make a case for that...but there's no f**king world in which the ball came off Arthurs and didn't go forward. When the ball hits an arm, it has to go directly backwards to not be a knock on, we know that's how that is adjudicated. But for some reason, that spud in the video room saw it hit the arm, but decided it went backwards somehow.

Mind you, as Beaver said, didn't seem to affect him much when he hoofed the ball into the crowd when Vaimauga dropped it close to their line.

Perception is everything and when Walsh isn't going well, it doesn't look good. I'm glad he doesn't play for us anymore, he has a lot of growing up to do.

Metcalf’s heroics aside, and taking conditions into acccount, is he really our best option kicking goals?

On that note, how impressive was Reynolds?

a bit harsh on the coaching at least yesterday. I thought we played and stuck to a pretty good gameplan, including the halves, though their attack was limited as usual. When Brisbane did score it was mainly due to individual derp moments from us rather than flaws in our structure.

Webby is currently getting results out of a mid roster with close to $3M in cap sidelined through injury, that deserves credit.
