As a Queenslander who has lived in NQ and have family who are still up there, this is absolute nonsense. Everyone in NQ supports the Cowboys, they travel for hours every week to get to the games. That's why they ask for Saturday night games, it lets their fans travel the hundreds of kms it takes some of them. instead of leaving from home our boys are catching a plane, checking into a hotel like its an away game. Our opposition just have a long bus ride amd they are the bloody premiers.

Can you please manage to grasp that I am not talking about supporters but rather the fact that NQ won't be playing on their familiar turf in Townsville, they will be playing on a not so familiar ground in Cairns. :roll:

Good to have you back Rsag. Hope everything is well.

Honestly I'm surprised Siolo and Carter aren't there. Siolo did pretty well against Penrith and could very well play in the front row (Only 2cm smaller than Tyrrell).

Carter is coming off suspension and could add some much needed spark off the bench or starting.

I really think we should have Sam playing up front with our lack of prop depth. Out of our preferred rotation, only 2 are available (Brown and Tom) and Sam's versatility should be used. It'll also allow us to use more backrowers, of which we have plenty.

No point in playing Keary considering he's leaving at the end of the year, especially at 5/8. Time to put Cody there and let his combination with Reynolds flourish. Same goes to playing AJ at fullback with GI going back to centre.

My side;

1. Alex Johnston
2. Tasi Tasi
3. Greg Inglis
4. Aaron Gray
5. Joe Burgess
6. Cody Walker
7. Adam Reynolds
8. Nathan Brown
9. Cam McInnes
10. Sam Burgess
11. John Sutton (c)
12. Paul Carter
13. Kyle Turner

14. Damien Cook/Luke Keary (couldn't care less so long as McInnes gets longer breaks)
15. Jason Clark
16. Patrice Siolo/Jack Gosiewski
17. Tom Burgess

Now doesn't that look like a much more balanced side?

I hate seeing Sam at prop. And cook is terrible.

Tom to start, Sam to the backrow, and Carter to the bench. A combo of him and keary out of dummy half towards the end of each halves could provide great spark.

So do I but it has worked in the past. We have so much lack of depth it isn't funny.

I'll give Cook the benefit of the doubt and say he hasn't been given enough time. I don't want McInnes out completely but Cook should definitely be getting some game time, around half an hour.

You know why QLD are almost unbeatable at Suncorp? The fans. You cannot discount a home crowd and this is exactly what we have provided NQ this weekend.

Gray needs to be given a chance, remember his entire A grade career has been played out of position on the Wing. Last week was going to be his first chance to play his natural position of centre, but as usual got yanked to the wing with injuries again.

If he gets to play centre and gets decent space and ball. He may actually show us what he is capable of. He has performed admirably on the wing but am excited he has been given a chance closer in. AND may shut up all this dribble that is going on in this forum.

FMD,I really think Madge has lost it.Tyrrell,Gray and Mcinnes,no Carter or Cook.Nothing at all from Tyrrell,Gray hesitant and scared,Mcinnes slow service!! Does Madge watch the same game as us??All other teams lose,and their coaches make changes,not here,you play crap and you get rewarded week after week.WHY MADGE,why did we buy Cook,really testing this 50 year supporter,I am off to take my blood pressure meds!!!

I agree with that Cisco.

That's how I see things.

My favourite Greek saying (substitute Rabbitoh Warrior for Greek Warrior}
Fate said to the Rabbitoh Warrior ,"there is a storm approaching which you can't withstand".The Rabbitoh Warrior replied "I am the storm"!
