Vs Dragons rd9 minus Stupid Six

Will start the thread early as have my daughters birthday party on during first half of game.
Wife is not happy as it is pissing down at the moment and my practical suggestion of water slides didn't go down well!

Anyway, let's hope the guys given their chance show some pride and keep the stupid six out in coming weeks.

Will watch a recorded version once the red cordial wears off.

Hope Dragon's take it easy and we win by 50+ as we would then be in the 8! Haha

If the Dragons take it easy we'll probably lose by only about 30.

Really only interested in the Super Cup today - and that's kinda ruined because the squad is stacked now. Maybe I'm strange but I find this the most enjoyable competition out of the three. It's a great cross of park footy and reserve grade.

It is and at Gosford recently I felt while watching Wyong Roos v Canterbury that I could almost get out on the park myself! Then first grade came on and sat comfortably back in my seat.

Early kick-off time, were they out on the raspberry cordial last night?
I tend to buy into what I heard during the Panthers game yesterday - looks like we put development on ice this year.

Looks like the only players putting in are the regular reserve graders.

4-0 after seven minutes. Wells the scorer.

As a Dogs supporter it's sad that we lost to half of this starting team lol these reserve grade players are playing harder than our first grade boys did

Can we get reserve grade updates from someone watching on here?

Cheers

34th minute

20-0, back to back tries to both wingers (Manu try well constructed play, Aoake try a short side overlap sneak), then Hingano takes the ball to the line and pops a late ball off the shoulder to Wells to score.

We're punching up the middle so easily (as you'd expect, 4 of the guys dropped are forwards). Roache looking good.

update; 35th minute, Vete barges over. 26-0

Back to back Warriors mistakes, we're backed onto our line, Manu almost takes an intercept but can't reel it in, Dogs don't do anything with it and it's half time.

Pretty happy with the enthusiasm from the NRL regulars. Impressed with Wells and Hingano in this game as well. The team is missing a little sharpness, which is to be expected given several of them haven't played together before. Looking good though, will be interesting to see the meters some of the NRL forwards make in this game, should be 200+.

Never seen a game day thread with this much early action. I'm in Texas at the moment and pretty sure no bars around here are going to be screening the game, so any updates would be appreciated.
