What did Maumalo do there?
Widdop chip through and he ran towards player not the ball.
Whitehead 5m in front of kicker who ever put him onside, poms score.
Bad miss by officials.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Add in SJ, RTS etc and look much more capable. Really liked Marsters on debut.

Entertaining game, lots in it.
Refs some howlers but not the reason we lost.
Some poor hands and mistakes at times that if they didn't happen we probably would have near won it.
3 kick offs out on full stands out as stupid stuff.
Halves not great.
Kicking game needs work.
Did we not practice our short goal line kicks?
More than a week together might improve some things.

Agree much better than expected, but the start makes you feel like we threw that one away.

One team looked like an international test side, and the other looked like a strung together festival entertainment side.

Test match footy was the winner on the day.

The Kiwis literally ran out of gas by not having the fifth tackle options to structure a game plan.

It was all second phase (exciting to watch) and running football...until they ran themselves flat and no one was running it straight anymore.

Our completions let us down badly, those kick offs did my head in.

3. NAS
2. DWZ
1. Luke (missed out on mom due to the kick offs and that hand stomp).

Hopefully Luke doesnt cop a ban...however the Sharks game was meant to be a weekend off for the test players in any case.

It looks like he is looking at the hand when he stands on it, but Luke will claim lack of oxygen to his brain after elbow to windpipe blurred his vision.

Also does NRL have jurisdiction on USA soil?

Someone get Johnnie Cochran on the phone! :)
