Equal 6th with same point diff as Cowboys.

aged about 10 years in that second half. Which if you count all the Warriors games over the years where that has happened, at last count, makes me around 723...

cant understand how 2 players going off injured changed us from having the foot on the throat to being a rabble that escaped by the skin of the teeth. Bodene was seriously pedestrian at dummy half. That needs to change. either he gets a backrower place on his own merits or he drops off the bench.

they just looked slow to me compared to the other games this weekend. if sj was to break his leg our season would be over......not enough players that can make a break or score a try.....charlie saved us a couple of times he certainly puts in all the time. give me a winger like addo-carr....speed to burn.
btw i reckon kearneys first stuff up...putting a non hooker at dummy half, bodene...his service much too slow

I'm sure Bodene would've been disappointed to come back from injury and have to play dummy half, not his fault it's not his role. SK's first error, really to not have a back-up plan.

Did Sipley play reserves? And go well?

Sipley looked good from what I saw, wasn't in front of the tv the whole time though. Surely must come in for either Papalii or Gubb. Manu was decent, has to come in for Maumalo.

Who knows what the dummy half situation is going to be like... will Luke be fit? Tevaga/Roache both injured? Clark will surely be in the 17 somewhere anyway..

Nathan Ross was ridiculously good today... geez I wish we had a winger like that.

Gubb deserves to keep a spot more than Papaali who had a bad miss and didn't do much.
I think Gubb is filling the 3rd prop role well enough. 86m, 34 tackles (1 miss) and no errors that I recall. He's never gonna bend the line that much but if he just sticks to running straight and getting a decently quick play the ball he does his job.
His stats weren't too different to Vete (102m, 32T, 1MT) and I thought they did a reasonable job with Lilyman who went better than he had in a long time.

Also noted that Mannering made 104m and 24 tackles (0 misses) in half a game.... he's immense.
