Fus and Mamulo left SJ to hang out to dry!
No idea what to do!!!
Closer than I thought it would be.
Still frustrating.

He had support if he'd straightened his run, overlap on the left.
Agree needed to straighten up after leaving Tom for dust, but kept dancing left.
But nothing but Manly in picture.
Let's not forget Matulino offload started it. His first and only?

Fus needed to cut in and Maumalo stay on the wing and Shaun would have had 2 good options.

He literally did all he could to get us that win. Foran was an absolute passenger

Frustrating to see us torn apart up the middle with lazy ruck defence over and over like carbon copies the same play. However it was a respectable effort. But now we're a good 4 points clear of the top 8 and I don't see us ever closing that gap. I'd say this is season effectively over.

Kudos to SJ for trying till the end to get something going. He was really good today.

Spotted us 16 and we still couldn't win

They also invited us back into the contest numerous times in the last quarter. We've never had a better chance to beat them in the last few years.

We gift wrapped that game for you, only thing we didn't do was tie the bow, somehow got away with it though

Game lost in the final 20 of that first half, Lussick and Fonua-Blake destroyed you up the middle and the edges were as flimsy as under 12s defence for 3 easy tries, 2nd half effort was much better in that regard

You gave us a head start. Young heads, injuries, refs missing a trip by Manly runner on defense for try, ball not bouncing quite right at time for Warriors. Much closer than I thought for a team sitting in second vs well the Warriors.

our dummy half defence was exposed big time. Api was all over us

Yeah and he caught the markers that weren't straight a lot as well but couldn't get the call

will probably get accused of being biased here, but every single show/preview I watch, raves about Forans season so far and the huge change he has made to the warriors, I just don't see it. Has 1-2 nice touches a game but that's his lot, I mentioned a while back that I was told his body was shot, especially his hammies, and every game the commentators mention how injured he looks moving around
Still a solid player, but the Dogs are being robbed blind paying a million a year for the current version of him and I think you dodged a bullet there price tag wise

Have always been a bit of a Johnson critic, but I like what I have been seeing from him of late, his running game is still a lot too sideways but option taking has gone a mile ahead of where it was

Guess that's the big difference this season, that's our worst effort since round 5 but still managed to sneak away with the 2 points, and now I think it is 7/8 in games decided by 6 points or less

Bounce of the pill Kelly can probably score another couple of tries as well, his hands weren't the best tonight

Live for someone to articulate what that change is supposed to be, we are exactly where we always are and as above he's his own shadow

Your right Beaver
In Forans first couple of games i felt he raised the level of the Warriors. I dont think hes slipped but the rest of the team have risen more and he hasnt. Guys at work are saying boy you must be upset losing Foran to the Dogs etc
Nope im not upset because he aint going to do nothing at the Dogs. His body is like Manus. Gone

Feel a bit sorry for the him in a way, can't question his effort but his body just can't take him there at the moment. Saw some highlights of a game Manly played vs the Titans in 2011, Foran took it to the line and got destroyed by Tagatese multiple times, and Sterlo made the comment that unless he chances his style his career could be a short one

I thought Foran's influence (and form) went south once he announced he was leaving. I spoke to some Bulldogs fans today and they're under no illusion about who they've signed.
