Tomkins... yeah, he's turned the Warriors around  and the coach, genius clearly we need a slow, poor kicking, mediocre passing, good character guy that can tackle at stand-off FFS

Don't think we were that bad tonight, just every 50/50 incident went against us, and the panthers gave us nothing in the second half. Having said that can I start the FOTL club?

They're simply much better than us - and remember they were well below full strength...

Never gonna win a comp with SJ as the dominant half. His strength is his running game but when we runs it on 5th tackle there is no Back-up option for last tackle. still think the warriors key players go missing far too often.

Johnson didn't take a lot of fifth tackle options, Leuluai did
FOTL club please

Lets not bag Tomkins for no reason.

He was pretty poor to start with, and has since improved to be a good enough first grade fullback. He definitely wasn't the problem today or during our recent slide.

I remain underwhelmed - but agree he's not the problem... the problems are bigger, and more systemic, unfortunately - in all of admin, coaching and playing

TL was horrible.

Tomkins was outstanding.

Defensively our best player and our smallest.

Shame on the rest of them.

The sad thing is TL has been pretty much horrible all year - aside from the Canberra "game"...

Anyway, hopefully we can get consistency in 2015...

C'mon, really? Really? We were that bad. No punch, and a lack of urgency. If you won't get up for a do-or-die Round 26 match, when will ya?

We were that bad. That bad. It's ridiculous, there ought to be an investigation.

You guys weren't good at all and I expected more. Same old Warriors

Didn't mean this to sound like a dig at you guys. Just genuinely expected more and you guys who follow the team deserve it.*

Yeah disappointing last effort, really didn't show up apart from 10 min at the start of the second half. Too many errors, not enough urgency.

I was impressed with Tomkins's scramble and desperation on defence.
He was really throwing himself everywhere trying to defuse everything, one of the few who never stops trying for us

Tomkins was outstanding.

I'm a fan of Tomkins' potential and believe he's an off-season and set of decent sprigs away from living up to his value. However, I don't think he was outstanding tonight - he was simply doing the job of a first grade fullback. We shouldn't celebrate guys doing that which they ought to be doing, rather the extraordinary - and I don't think he was extraordinary this evening.

I don't think Tomkins was *outstanding* either

But he was doing his job, and doing it well.
That's more than half the blokes out there right now

His defence was exceptional.

In that game the warriors completions were around 50 %

Penrith Camped in the Warriors half.

The amount of clean up work Tomkins was forced to do was well above what an ordinary NRL Fullback is required to carry.

Ordinary NRL teams complete at 80 %

Plenty of disappointing players tonight. None worse than Leuluai, Matulino and Rapira.

You may be right mate. While he played well, I don't think he was outstanding. Never mind, we'll live to fight another season.

List of some of the 50/50 stuff that happened.

Their first try - obvious bad call by refs for penalty that lead to try
Manu's no try - Laumape lifts his head slightly so that he's 'looking' for the ball but everything else plays out exactly the same? It's play on
Their 2nd(?) try where they checked to see if Johnson was obstructed - seen those pulled back before.
Mateo's held up - he scores that try 9/10 times. Was just unlucky tonight.

4 plays which go the other way and we're winning that game.
