It's not Wright's fault the coach is geniused. He was dropped when going ok (yes he's mediocre at best) but Tevaga was dropped when going really well and now Tui has been clod to our best when at fullback and is dropped to the bench.. Just f**ked really

Cronulla were tired that was our best chance to beat them and coach went full genius, or filler genius... He's got to go, but the PR will be 3 wins and and unlucky loss against the top team

Exactly, wright really not needed, even in bench, carry roach or jazz, who move to wing if shit hits fan on the field.

Damn, disappointing in the end. But we very nearly beat the top team, who haven't lost at home all year. Really proud of the boys.

Yes very odd to leave tui on the bench and put wright in, I'm guessing tui was benched incase our 6 or 7 went down, should have still put him on at FB and just shuffled round the players if need be in the event of an injury (and yes jazz or roach would have been fine on the bench instead), maybe our coach is only capable of thinking along one line at a time.

Shit... Gotta say though, we were rank outsiders after only managing to beat dogshit teams the last two week. Did bloody well to push the top of the table team so far.

We "should" win more games than we lose for the rest of the year.

Had some fun at he after match function meeting the team. Got a few photos and had the whole team sign a poster, was great. I also got to meet Iron Lion, who it turns out is a ten year old boy demanding that Simon Mannering be fired. Most of the boys were pretty down about the result, but I was trying to give them good words of encouragement.

Also Mannering was asked about the penalty try and basically just said he thought he was going to the sin bin and couldn't really argue.

So you were the guy who offered me $20 to go into the toilets with you?

Congrats you only had to wait until rd 16 for a stand out performance from Mannering in a game we lost. Anyhow I can live with Mannering playing week in week out like that. I cant live with our 1 up the ruck predictable sets. We gave that game away in the end.

Fusitua went great at the back, no surprise he can play strong at fullback. Thing is now we dont have him on the wing scoring tries. Fusitua cant be at 2 places at once.

Maumalo started off srong but then as the game wore on, he wore out. He was handbreaking in the crucial last quarter of the game and thats a credit to the Sharks defence. If you gonna run it like Manu then you gotta dent the defence, thats something that wasnt really happening. Also thats all he does is hitting it up like a forward. One trick pony. STILL, Ill have him on the wing next week.

Lisone had his worst game.

Agreed, this in my opinion was our best performance of the season.
The Sharks are *good* and we kept toe to toe for 90+ minutes

Manu any day.

Run metres are not everything for a winger, it's a bonus on top of being able to actually do a wingers job. Manu with his experience and try scoring ability wins easily.

The Sharks were tactically poor last night, and on top of that their execution was off on last tackle plays. At some point teams are going to start kicking behind Maumalo and directly at him along the ground. I fear we'll see him exposed in this situation.
