Melbourne have some serious worries, if we can go through them like that

Felt like I was watching union it was so stop start

Warriors left a few tries out there going for the fancy wide ball rather than through the hands, but they are light years ahead in attack now than what they were with Brown so I give Stacey some credit there

Shaun, I think that was the best version of him that we will see for the rest of his career, kicking game was extremely good and a nice pass out to Kosi. Loses out on a couple through not wanting the contact, was a glaring example about 2-3 mins before halftime where a big hole was opening in front of him that he could have dug into and opened up the outside men but he shovelled it on 4m before the line

Big props to the young man Kosi. Was completely embarrassed last the against the storm and bounced back with a safe as houses game and a hat trick.

Stint in Reggie's did him good. Looks alright with a bit more experience.

Nelson done for a lifting tackle, Kosi could have made that worse like some players seem to do now days.

Now Nelson gets to smash Egan's jaw with an elbow slamming into his dropping! And nothing. Poor protection of players contact with head. How that's not 10 mins now day?

After a great defensive set Curran penalised for late hit on kicker, replay shows little to nothing!

SJ and Pompey don't want to tackle Olam who goes through the turnstiles.

0-6 8mins

Kosi gets a crusher by Bromwich.

Now Melbourne offside on their line and not called on last. When does incompetence become corrupt?

Now he gets them inside the 10m on our 40m.

Mistake by Luskic losing ball.

Scrum penalty against Warriors breaking early.

Loved the Kosi Montoya tackle on Meenie.

But next minute beaten all up, but Storm knock on a sitter.

Then Storm not set scrum in time so penalised.

Jazz stays down holding eye. Double eye grab, King second motion to eye then Grant over top. Again on report and no action after 4 foul play. Just realised refs not hiding it, they wearing purple!!!!

6again after SJ held down.

Goes wide to Kosi who scores in the corner.

To wide passes by Egan then CHT.

4-6 22mins.

Curran done for a tackle in the air on Meenie.

CHT left out if line with leg/knee injury playing on 1 leg. Can't wrap up Kaffusi offloading to Grant to score.

4-10 28mins.

Grant knocks on from dummy half.

Walsh with a shit loopy pass, who could have backed himself, kills the try.

Warriors penalised for inside the 10m

Munster throws a shit pass that goes out to match Walsh.

SJ bomb earns a dropout.

Dropout goes to short, penalty in front.

Egan shows Walsh how to throw a harbour pass to Kosi who slides over for a double.

8-10 35mins SJ misses another.

SJ grubber touched to go dead for a dropout, which goes long this tine.

Katoa knocks on a ball he not expecting and looking to SJ for an explanation. Nothing wrong with pass.

Halftime

Storm get 6 again for ruck infringement on first set.

Hughes strolls through for a try, defensive line had no idea, Egan running left under post leaving HUGE gap.

8-16 43mins

Luskic down, head catches elbow/forearm of Kaffusi in tackle.

Warriors get lucky ball thrown around on last, SJ kick played at goes out 10m out.

SJ grubber on 3rd taken dead, no one knew it was on, no Warriors jumpers in the frame.

Left, Right, Left again, no structure/shape in attack.

SJ grubber force another dropout.

Aitken puts down Walsh inside pass.

Strom go wide, make meters as Montoya turned in, Anderson kick to in goal and Meenie scores.

8-20 54mins

Storm length of the field going wide again, Munster forces dropout.

Penalty as buzzer goes off!!!!

Amature hour.

8-22 57mins

Grant just misses a 40/20 with foot on 40m line.

Storm markers not square and penalised.

DWZ penalised for tackle in air on Meenie, captains challenge. Watching the ball till the last milliseconds and takes Meenie out. Unsuccessful challenge.

Muster at Fullback knocks on, captains challenge, Unsuccessful.

Kosi scores a hatrick off the scrum and another wide pass.

12-22 64mins Walsh misses.

Aitken takes Munster before he has the ball, Storm take the 2.

12-24 70mins

Pompey with a falcon that goes out.

A 6 more for Warriors with less than 4 mins to go.

Another shit looping pass by SJ goes to ground with a 2 man overlap and DWZ can't keep it in play with a kick.

Fulltime.

Storm 13 game winning streak against us.

My takeaway from watching at Mt Smart: we matched them up the middle and both teams created their fair share of opportunities. The difference, as has been the problem with the Warriors for as long as I can remember, is that the Storm scored on most of their chances, while we would often come away empty handed after two or three repeat sets.

We also gave away a few soft tries. And the Storm were much grubbier in the tackles.

But what it comes down to is that we need to create so many more opportunities than our opponents due to our lack of relative execution in try scoring positions.

Horse shit double standards.
Lets talk about NAF losing his legs/leaving his feet/jumping to drive down into the tackle? they see that?
How about the elbow/forearm across the neck/jaw area during this motion?
It wasn't a f**ken head slam or crusher, it was unnecessary force to the head or neck region resulting in an injury!
Wake the f**k up? Minimal f**ken contact my ass!
Hope he breaks a "top players" jaw with the action, then something might be done about it!

100% agree. Pathetic, incorrect, and actually really dangerous excuse for that tackle. No it wasn't a head slam or crusher, there was no neck injury or back of head injury. It was an elbow to the jaw. A f**king hard one.

Minimal contact, can Luke Patten walk into Auckland central dentistry this week and explain that to the man in the white coat while Egan has his teeth fixed at the cost of probably tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars? I reckon the Doc would have something to say about the accuracy of that statement.

I know what you mean by top player, but gee Wayde Egan is. He's a superstar in terms of his guts and effort. The guy gets f**king pulverised by NAS, but comes back on. Unfortunately that might've given the f**king inept judiciary an out.

Luke Patten is a fool, he was hopeless in the video ref box as well from memory

Joey Johns was blowing up saying he would give NAS 4 months lol

NAS was worse than JWH that at least copped a fine. On the JWH one, he lost the plot because Fulton came on and said “isn’t it time you retired old man” haha
