Well, that was interesting.

Take nothing away from the fact that the Purple Scum are well and truly on, you switch off even for 10 minutes and they'll put tries on you every set. Luke injured and Blair writing off his night early doesn't help, then the inexperienced and over-hyped Lino and Gelling get brutally exposed, Hiku a disaster again, Green & Mannering standing dumbfounded. Everyone is panicking and now we have tits for hands.

It's just a sad sad night.

I expected this against Saints and the Roosters to an extent.

No Harris, no Johnson (lol at the Chris Dumbttue claiming Kearney has to pick Lino), no Kata, no Luke for most of this, it was coming.

Got to remember we have a massive missed tackle count this year. Can’t keep doing that and getting away with it. The difference here is Melbourne have gone wide fast. Gelling Lino and Green in particular have fallen apart. Mannerings miss is alarming. He fell off Sims last week too.

The first try I can cope. It was a bit flukey. The rest, our edges are being destroyed with comic ease.

The test now is our resilience. Could be the beginning of the end. Thank god Shaun and Tohu are back next week.
