Pretty depressing game. I know we have had some dark patches, but this has to be one of the worst periods of play in he history of the club. Just getting flogged week after week by every team. We deserve the spoon honestly.

Out of interest, at what point did Vete return to the field? Because not for the first time, our most dominant forward has been dragged after 20 minutes, and failed to return until after the rot has set in. Coaching from the manual without any hint of reading the game from the coaches box. Says it all really.

Has he got the gas to go more than 20mins?
I'm not sure how McFadden is going to survive this?

It has to be out of frustration, both getting smashed and some of the effort others around him seem to be putting in, when you are working your ass off.

Bloody short post match conference with Cappy and Hoffman.
"Effort the issue, no respect to the jersey and the coaching staff" was Hoffman's contribution.
Cappy got the same answers as the last few weeks, errors, experienced guys sloggng guts out, inexperince and guys that just shouldn't be there.

As opposed to doing sfa, like most of the others. I'll take Gubb's brain-snap over that...and those Tigers laughs and smiles were starting to grate.

Gubb shoulder charged deliberately twice, both of which led to penalties on their own 10 and directly to tries. I don't care how impressive his effort is (and yes, he is at least trying), he'll cost you points and games with cheap penalties, the bin, and getting suspended.

F*k him, waste of time until he grows a brain.

The amazing ongoing paradox of the Warriors is that it's usually the Australians who put in more pride in the jersey than our local boys.

We set noticeable effort every week from Lillyman, Hoff, Friend, Tomkins.
Wright, Allwood, Chad aren't particularly good but don't drop off their attitude dramatically.
They suck but at least they try.

You can count on Manu, TL, Matulino (most of the time), Bodene, to put in effort every week. Mannering the player is great, but he's an atrocious on-field leader unfortunately.

Lolohea, Lisone and Vete show promise, but let's see their second/third years.

... now wtf are the rest of the guys doing, that includes SJ who hasn't put in a full season for us yet. We're carrying half a team of duds attitude wise, even more now with injuries.

This is the difference between us and the rest of the NRL right now.

Vete is a first year prop, he shouldn't have to put in more than 20-30 a game. Not his fault, he gets an A- for the year from me.

Hahahahah oh man am I glad I missed this one. Will do the same for next week if something else comes up again.

Last 7 matches, 7 losses, 234 points conceded at an average of 33.4/game, and a median of 32 (so no significant skew, we're on average conceding 6 tries a game). And an average of 9.7/game for us.

This will surely be extended to an 8 match losing streak. Cappy can't survive this, if we are aiming to be a serious footy club. It's not just the losses - the team has given up, and did so a while back (while they were still very much in the running).

Good on ya, I wish I could make the same effort. We'll be right in the game next week too, right up until the moment the opposition score their first try.

I freely admit that I am actively avoiding them. Sunday afternoons/Saturday evenings are too precious to have them ruined by terrible Warriors games. I'm a fairweather fan and proud of it.
