Sironen went really well but may have been injured as he didn’t play most of the 2nd half

think he copped a shoulder in the chin and failed the HIA. Egan failed an HIA as well. Waydes early season durability issues need to disappear.

temperament seems the same. But his game was good. wasnt a momentum killer and did his tacklebot thing. Didnt give me any excuse to yell at the tv set....for a change.

Really stoked with that effort. A lot of positives to take out of the game. A bit worried about Chanel, his kicks and last tackle options were fairly poor. Plenty of positives though, hope the injuries aren’t too bad!

I think he wasn’t whacking the ball hard intentionally due to quadriceps recovery. He has a long punt..

I didn’t see the game, Sironen go well? He was a really good one imo to add to AFB and Aitken, not to mention re-signing Harris

Sironen solid till chin coped a shoulder.
If some of our quicks can go with AFB, he had his arm free a lot looking for offload.
I suspect Brown has that up the sleeve and defense is the key for now?

Brandy was banging on about CHTs useless kicks with no elevation all game. And Roger was taking touchfinders and goal line dropouts all game which I cant remember seeing before. My first thought was that he was getting in some exit strategy reps for the Blues....

There was mention of CHTs quad issue in this thread. Was that from last year or did this happen recently during the preseason? And are we likely to see the same again next week?

Pre season i think......sounds like he was unable to train all week leading up to the game.

heard something interesting in the commentary for one of today’s games. Apparently the new balls feel lighter but actually are the same weight as the old ones. I wonder if CHT was undercooking his kicks as a result, maybe they’ve been practicing using last years type?
