Didn't Glen make noises about a league academy? Is this the problem he is addressing?

Personally I think the NRL should go back to a Reserve Grade as well. Good for the game and good for the public.

In general you are right though.

I'm swayed toward a return to reserve grade, but how does the costing work out?

No doubt it will be dear. But we have the new TV deal and I am sure all three grades would be worthy of coverage.
As well league is growing strongly and this would support that.

And it would bridge the big gap between U20's and First Grade. (And allow the Vulcans to work as they were intended - for nonplaying reserves and blooding new players.)

It's secondary to the main arguement but will it get coverage? some other posts ATM are complaining about the lack of Juniors coverage. Will there be enough viewers to justify covering all the games? On the bright side Ican't image the costs are too much more substantial for the filming of those games if they're all at the same venue

Jesse Royal... also Corey Lawrie is another. What age was Malo Solomona when the Warriors gave him a shot? I guess with all those blokes they all came through into first grade before NYC.

I think Malo would've been 19-20 when he made his debut, he was pretty young at least.
Also think Karl Temata and Misi Taulapapa would be a couple more pre-NYC debut from reserve grade/Bartercard Cup.

Godinet is a similar story to Heremaia isnt he? except without going to the UK first.

I use to love watching Fai and Malo carving up for the Lions.. Where has Solomona gone?
