and.......

didnt see the game. how did coops go ?

Was ok, didnt get that involved, gave away a penalty.

You could tell there were communication problems, so that didnt help him fit in that well.

But looks like he could be a real spark from fullback.

He'll get another shot that's for sure, looks like a greate athelete.

Can't really expect him to gell isntantly though eh. More training with the team and i'm sure he'll do better :)

Out of all the backs that played today, I see the most potential in him.

Hatzy proven wrong one feels.

Have to congratulate Cleary. Vuna isn't ready for first-grade.

He is young and will probably become a good first grade winger in time, but I don't think we will be regreting releasing him.

You cant regret releasing him one bit - b'coz if he stayed he would of played out the season in premier league - regardless.

I dont know if you guys actually watched the game but he came close scoring three tries in a team that got a hiding and offered nothing. One was quite a good break - though his inexperience was shown.

Can blame him for the bad defence- knights D has been crap outwide the whole season, hence the reason they've bought 4 or 5 centre/wings.
Knights have now chance this season but will come good next season. too many mid-season transfers and a new coach etc.

After a couple more games and even more importantly a good off-season - Vuna will prove he is a better wing option than Ah Van, Byrne and crocket.

Word is he was exactly the same in Premier League at the Warriors. Capable of anything, but an absolute turnstyle in defence. It's not so much missing tackles I've noticed with him, it's the fact he plays a perfect soccer interpretation of the "Free role", but in defence. He is caught out time and time again. In the Souths game, he'd already come way too far in for a try to Nigel Vagana, and then the next set, he comes racing in, fortunately Smith drops it because at the point of him dropping it Cooper had come so far up and in he was 2 metres in front of the defensive line and INSIDE his centre. That's not defending as a team. He looks to me to be the sort of bloke you'd love to have chasing down a team provided you accepted you had a big chance of losing it all too, but the bloke you wouldn't want on the field if you were up by 4 with 2 minutes to play, he looks to be me the sort of player who unknowingly could blow the game for you badly.

I still think he's been a good buy.

He has a good physique to build on and is like a real athelete and has some pace which we have been lacking over the years.

His attack is quite good, although doesnt get involved too much, usually waits for the ball to come to him.

In defence, I don't know if I can blame him tbh, MacDougall stuffed him up a lot, especially in the last game.

Id like to see what happens if he was basically 1 on 1 and not getting run around because the other team has numbers.

The experience he is getting now is invaluable for next season.

I don't see him as being a top winger in the game, but I can see him being a really solid winger getting atleast 10 tries a year if he plays each year.

ATM though he does look a little inexperienced and doesnt look to have the mental attitude to play strong for the full 80, especially in defence.

thats what will either make or break cooper, he is in a new place, no family/mates for him to act up to. he is there to play footy.

i like brian smith as a coach, if anyone can tap vuna's obvious talent, i hope he can.

Macdougall can't be blamed at all for Vuna's missed tackle on Quinn which let him score.

That was disgraceful, soft, pathetic.

Looked like a fourteen year old girl(just a huge, masculine one).

Nuh MacDougall is not to blame there.

But most of the time it isnt our wingers fault when we get tries down each side.

It was a piss poor attempt but it seemed like he was carrying some injury aswell?
