Bears could play an annual match at Adelaide
NRL had big crowds of around 28,000
At Adelaide at One stage
I suspect Souths will move their annual regional game to Adelaide from 2027. They got Perth for 2 years (25&26). For years they have had an appetite to be an Australian wide supported club.

Dont the NRL have a rule that away jerseys have to be mostly white?

Id like to see Year 1

Home jersey - a brand new design
Away Jersey - Mostly white, either the reds inspired one or a NS inspired one
Alternate Jersey - a more traditional NS one to be worn at the Sydney Bears membership games
Indigenous Jersey - Designed by a Noongar artist featuring the swan river and a swan.

There is no such rule for away teams,(being white) just that the away kit needs to contrast to the home
Otherwise how do explain tigers black/orange away
Or sharks cyan/black away, Penriths black/pink away etc
And that white jersey is bland and sooooo boring
Why bother with a branding if your just gonna use that shìt

Yeah I get the math, what I don't get is why you think the age or average of a bears fan makes any difference .... you've added 2+2 and created 5
Where did I say that?

I said if you're going to submit an article then at least get the basics right. Someone in their 20s in 1994 isn't in their 40s 30 years later.

Maybe you do need someone to read you spot the dog.

I haven't ventured over to the Expansion forums for a bit, mainly because I was just into my team going well into the finals.
This thread has become the new shit fight, taking over from the 18th Club one.
After reading through I've come to this conclusion:
Perth Red is the only sensible poster on here at the moment.
Read into that what you will haha

Tv networks would love Monday night to return and would pay more for it
It's going to take a balancing-act of scheduling & finance to make it work.

For player welfare you'd ideally want both teams to play the Sunday games the week after.. and there's also the issue of likely reduced attendance for a weeknight game (does the host club get compensated for that?)... and the small matter of kickoff time - too late and it shrinks NZ audience, too early and it cuts Australian viewers & attendance.

Monday night football started with a bang and ended with a whimper for crowds and ratings. I think it’s a bad idea. A new Perth team should have all games 6pm Sunday night. Play 3 games on Sunday just like Saturday. And the Perth Sunday game should be on Fox and FTA in WA. Those are my post night out thoughts.

Thats the thing mate, Where did he state he be in their 40s, if they were 20 in 1994?
the article said the average bears fan is 40, not the specifics you made up, again you've jumped at shadows and created the 2+2=5

Definitely should be the case when Perth play at home. Which timeslot works when they are away? I think warriors having an east coast midday game might be the answer..

Same time slots for away games work for home games.
AEST
8:00pm Friday
5:30pm Saturday
7:30pm Saturday
4:00pm Sunday
6:00pm Sunday

AWST
6:00pm Friday
3:30pm Saturday
5:30pm Saturday
2:00pm Sunday
4:00pm Sunday

They might get the odd Thursday away game but probably not. Warriors hardly get any for the same reason as why Bears wouldn’t get them. 7:30pm Thursday AEST is 5:30pm AWST & 9:30pm NZST.

Never thought about Perth being able to take Friday 600 pm est which most clubs hate

That’s a big advantage
