wondering when news from this meeting today will come out. any of the expert insiders on this forum attending?
The 2025 draw is out today, not sure if they wanna give that some space first?

How long is the WA Premier in Sydney?

If he's still there tomorrow.. maybe a press conference then?!?

Wont it be you letting us know Sir? Will something be announced on that Perth radio station you listen to?
i live near yamba. will be hard for me to listen to perth radio. more importantly i'm just a footy fan, no inside information and no outlandish opinions that i strut out as facts.

you would know more about any of the bids than i do, hence all the questions i ask. im just a curious bastard when it comes to footy and where the comp is heading. i find the dick measuring contest here on who is the one, who knows more and who thinks their opinion is the right opinion funny.

Roger Cook won't leave Sydney until the deal is done. I've heard he's taken Humphrey the Bear hostage and won't release him until V'landys gives in.
Cook seen in Sydney yesterday. Apparently came by boat. Humphrey still being held in the hold pending the outcome of further negotiations.

eventually it will but according to who will it run independently at the start? why would perth think they are better placed than warriors and storm who didn’t have these junior sided until very recently?
Traditionally we've done very well against Victoria as 12, 15s and open mens. It's only the 18s which have struggled based on the Vics having a genuine pathway to build them up.

I don't know if having the Dolphins game and the SOO so close is a good thing or not? Good for interstate visitors is probably the thinking.
yeh be interesting, cost of SOO and if last years Dolphins game is anything to go by is going to be hard in same period for many. I presume they are trying to encourage dolphins and Newcastle fans to come over and make a few days of it.

May also save some money for marketing? You’re trying to encourage people in Perth to come out and watch league and people in NSW and QLD to travel over, seems there could be some overlap there.

I'm going to be interested to see (presuming Perth is announced as in) if
A) The WA govt has upped its finical support and in what areas
B) What model of ownership the NRL has landed on
C) if the Western Bears consortium are back as alluded to in last weeks article
D) If not who is running the club
E) is 2027 still the intended admission season
