No I'm talking about the NRL and the WA govt. Posts like it will be someones fault if it doesn't go ahead, NRL asking too much, WA being miserly.
It's only you and red continually talking about cumins for some weird f**ked up reason
That's coz he keeps pretending that WA is only going to happen if the parochial cumins leads them to the promise land, coz he shook his hand once at a charity gala.....
Personally I've said WA will have a team once they bow to the bears, and stump up a licence fee, and that was me saying that to PerfRed years ago
Seems like that's slowly happening now, regardless of who's is spearheading the funds

It looks all promising. Too many knobs on here making out that the 2 parties are butting heads and trying to rip the other off.
That’s it, you’re spot on. Everything reported has had the relationship between both parties being fluid and good from the communication, meetings to negotiation’s and if there’s been impasses they resolved those fairly quickly.

Nothing like that at all. From what I’ve heard the communication, meetings and negotiations have been great and if there’s been impasses they resolved those fairly quickly.

PVL uses quite bullish language in public though doesnt he ? Doesnt sound like much of a negotiation is taking place …. He is just passing on his “requirements “…

PVL is PVL. His negotiation tactics aren’t for all and some might not necessarily understand it but at the end of the day he runs a multi billion dollar business and you don’t get the results he has been getting by catering to everyone and mincing words.

As for his bullish statements, yeah he can spit them for sure but there’s honestly nothing wrong with putting people in the spotlight to apply pressure to force an outcome.

They're not exactly tactics, he uses the media like you said, this whole "game" of business negotiations and parlour tricks is over, you set your price, there is no such thing as negotiations anymore, the to and fro gets debated in public spotlight, and your weak if you don't end up supporting the end agenda

There's a bit of work left to get to 20 but that's the goal and this (PNG) is the first one,' V'landys said.

'The West Australian one's next and we've got many options for the 20th team.

Looks like PVL has started applying the pressure to NZ.

I think the bold is very telling.

I'm reading that as it's as good as done.

those two journo's read and carayannis have been the better of the bunch at covering these expansion stories.

by the way the bear head logo with west aussie state outline would make for a great logo. as long as bear head is updated
WA state outline to be on the back of the jersey just below the neck line would be a good idea.
