Its irrelevant.Isn’t it convenient that they’re the same colours then

Is it? Because if the Wildcats’ brand and colours were Perth from day 1 and the Bears happen to be bringing the same colours then shouldn’t that be a bonus? Its irrelevant.
its as relevant as the blue and yellow of eagles, the orange and purple of Glory or the blue and black of Force. Just because A perth club happens to have same brand colours as NS does not make NS brand colours represent a new club in Perth. The yellow is a nod to the only prof RL club we have had in Perth, forging a link between Perth RL and NS RL histories. Or I'd be quite happy with Gold as a nod to the WA RL State teams colours. Is it? Or are we shifting the goal posts out of pure spite?

This isnt NS playing in Perth, its a new club with a partnership with NS. How many times do some Bears fans have to be told this?
It's over. NRL & bears are running show now. Colours will be red & black and you'll like it!!

Nrl ownership won’t care if yellow is in or not nor will
RL dear boy, RL. soccer, Basketball or AFL colours dont matter. But now you're getting it, yes its parochial but that's WA.I get it now. WA sporting club colours are irrelevant… unless the club began elsewhere, in which case it needs to be changed just becausespiteparochial.

Damn beat me to it lol
Wa govt won’t care nrl will ask the bears their priorities
5k existing league fans will be upset for five minutesprobably right which could well end up being a disaster. A reason I was so keen to see WA ownership of this club. It wont fail if 10k NS fans are a bit peeved, it will fail if WA doesnt feel this is our club.

The other few million will never have heard of the bears
Your getting grassroots funding, 300 million on the stadium and a coe
Cheer up lol

Given your Swans example. They could just go with red and black and add a WA landmark on the logo behind the Bear head.RL dear boy, RL. soccer, Basketball or AFL colours dont matter. But now you're getting it, yes its parochial but that's WA.
Creating a perth club that looks and feels like a Perth club does. Yellow or gold has a link to WA RL, it should be added for that reason alone.
Swans and Lions both changed significant things to show they belonged to their new city. The Vlandy's Bears need to do the same.

or the 46k at last double header. But yeh if you want to attract WA fans make it a WA club. If you want to attract WA sponsors make it a WA club. The whining of stuck in the past NS fans about some minor brand changes to show this is a new club is tiresome. Did Fitzroy and Sth Melbourne fans whinge this much when they moved and changed their branding?
Couple more weeks and all we will have left is who is team 20 thread in this forum lol
Don't forget Central Queensland, Northern Territory & Tasmania (all just as likely as Hawaii, some maybe more for teams 23 & 24)Expansion will probably hit a stall like the 2007-2023 stall but that didn’t stop expansion talk all those years, I doubt it’ll slow down too much even once it gets to 20.
In 15 years if LU still exists it’ll be the team 23 thread discussing the pros/cons of Fiji, Wellington, Melbourne 2 & Hawaii.
