I’d be expecting something early next year if it is a done deal.

Hopefully they can get a logo and basic merch sorted in time to start flogging some “foundation” memberships, include ticket offers for Origin & double header to boost numbers. Perfect opportunity with 3 NRL events held there next year.

It will be interesting to see how the club runs initially. Will the NRL decide on name and logo etc before a board is appointed. Or will they appoint a board and let them work through key issues such as branding?

8 hours direct flight auckland to perth
8+ hours connecting flight townsville to perth
12+ hours connecting flight port moresby to perth
5+ hours brisbane to perth
5 hours sydney to perth
4+ hours melbourne to perth

thats some serious flying times
