I just hate the wa govt for how long they have strung this out when it’s only an extra 100 million Pvl wanted

PNG govt coughed up more than that in five minutes

Seeing the red and black is going to be so good

It is the Public Service after all, we can’t rush these things, somebody was probably on a flexi day which would’ve delayed it, add in a sick day, staff Christmas Party, WA is a few hours behind, it all adds up lol.

Remember when you laughed when I suggested the Aussie govt might put in 300 million into a png team, and you said no chance the Aussie govt would put money into a png team

Or that tax exemptions would ever be achieved ?

Even the bears bid you thought the wa consortium would never have to pay a license fee or that the wa govt would ever come up with the money for it

Without the bears link up I wouldn’t be adding a team in Perth for ten years

I would go png, nz2 then Brisbane 3

A stand alone Perth team would be a slow burn to being an nrl team which contributes to the tv deal and competition as a whole

Linking with the bears is a whole different scenario for the reasons which have been discussed adnauseum

When talking about the future tv deal perthred himself said the team would have little value to the tv deal and was quite pessimistic about the value of nrl expansion teams
