Perth is the country’s fastest-growing capital city with more than 81,000 people – or 220 a day – moving to the west in 2022-23, according to the latest population figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
It also made Western Australia one of only two states in the nation to have net internal migration, meaning more people arrived in the west from interstate than left for other parts of the country.

these figures are funny because when talking about west aussie state people are really only moving to perth yeah? but in banana bender state they are moving to brissy, goldie and sunny coasts in nsw they move to sydney, newy, gong. the stats are true in they reflect metros so its true perth city has good growth but actual areas people are flocking elsewhere.

Apparently it was supposed to be aimed at the younger WA audience, not the 80 year old half dead East Coast Bears supporters who won’t even be around in 10 years, or words to that effect lol.

whats the average age of bears fans that attend nsw cup games ya reckon? i mean most of the 90s generation that only saw the team doing well even if they never won prems would have been highschool to early 20s maybe? so surely their kids are default fans due to the yarns their parents tell of the good ol days of the 90s, florimos ikins larsons moore seers fairleighs etc

It really varies, I attended more games than ever last season as my boys have now stopped playing.
The diehard fans are older, but there are a lot of younger ones in their 20’s and 30’s.
James Maloney signed with my junior club last weekend, his junior club, David Fairleighs’ junior club, so hopefully he can attract so players back to the club.

Hard to pin an average age of everyone since they have so many junior clubs starting players as young as 6 who get involved with the club in some form or fashion.
