Continuing a successful deal with 2 hugely popular international organisations versus outlaying vast amounts of money for a regurgitated team in a domestic competition.

Not really comparable are they.
Continuing a successful deal involves outlaying vast amounts of money.

Did you miss these parts deliberately:

"the city staking its claim to being the nation's combat sports hub."

"The return of UFC and WWE in 2025 is a major coup for Western Australia, following the roaring success of UFC 284 and WWE Elimination Chamber that collectively injected nearly $50 million into our economy last year".

Now I know those 2002 Norths members are rich like Bragging Toxic Bear but are they going to contribute the same amount into the economy?

I didn't miss anything deliberately but what has been missed deliberately is the undisclosed amount they've bid for these events to return to WA. They don't just sweet talk them with "Hey didn't you have fun last time?".

It was worth $50 million to the economy. With added events that will rise.

That's a return on any investment made by the WA government.

Same as state of origin. That would be a valid comparison.
And SOO drew a similar figure, but still more than WWE did at Optus.

It may seem like comparing apples & oranges but to the layman as an election issue, it's simply seen as money spent on housing/education vs money spent on filling people in stadia for entertainment.

Spending money to bring down international touring acts (a license fee, if that helps) should be considered more of an election issue than spending money on funding infrastructure for a full-time sports club that competes in the most watched code in the country.

if toxic bears is redblacbears then he doesnt even bother posting about alwaysloser but alwaysloser being the resident forum loser that he is obsesses over posters and feels the need to try throw shade at a poster probably doing better in life than alwaysloser is. truth be only toxic poster here is alwaysloser who obsesses over the same 5/6 posters every single day, like a pathetic little bitch.

alwaysloser, 24/7 obsessing over posters because he has a sad insignificant piece of shit existence that is reliant on the forum and trying to get attention from people who could care less about him.

alwaysloser, the resident forum loser.

I didn't even hear about it during the election campaign so I don't think anyone thought it was an issue.

it wasnt because wwe and ufc arent in direct competition with afl and the kerry stokes controlled media 7/thewest. nrl is.

so wwe and ufc could have been significantly more than nrl in terms of state dollars but because their medium is different to that of footy codes/winter sports. who cares/not worth kerry stokes and in turn thewest's time to print and make it an issue.

I don't think it did at all otherwise the libs and the media would have been all over it. Literally no one cares but you.
why would they care though if it doesnt affect their bottom line? again ufc and wwe arent competing against afl like nrl is.

nrl directly competes against afl.
9 directly competes against 7
watoday directly competes against thewest.
libs directly compete against labor.

thewest makes a deal out of anything to do with labor nrl west aussie because it directly goes against thewest, channel 7, liberals and kerry stokes.

Big plans for that whole Hilton park area They started the planning process and consultation last year. The bears training facilities will just be an add on to what is already planned. RL sadly moved out to a new suburb so it will mostly be football focused.
Sad to lose Ken Allen but a better spread of clubs for the competition. Opened up Juniors for Freo and gave Willagee some breathing space. Big losers in it all are SP.
